LG single door refrig with bottom freezer

the Fridge overall is fine. we love the ice maker and everything else works well with one exception. the vegie crisper drawers have a large (1/4 inch) gap between them and the shelf above. any fresh vegies like celery get dehydrated within a couple days. we have to store everything in plastic bags and containers. we checked the double door fridge and it's crisper drawers seal well with no gap. this is our only complaint...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying our new LG bottom drawer freezer refrigerator. An exceptionally good, straightforward design in a substantial, well made refrigerator. If you don't use a lot of ice cubes, they will overflow the ice receptacle drawer, so you'll have to remember to shut off the ice maker to prevent this from happening. Could be a problem if you are away from home a lot. Would have given five stars if more thought was given to this issue.

Good Fridge TERRIBLE process.

NEVER BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM SAM'S! There is nothing wrong with this LG refrigerator. What is broken is the process of buying from Sam's without seeing the item and counting on their delivery system from LG to work. We bought a larger refrigerator where the spec's were not clearly evident and it did not fit. the door would not open in our space. So we returned that and bought a much smaller one instead. We did our best to try to coordinate the return and the delivery of the smaller refrigerator to be at the same time. They picked up the return and delivered the smaller one but the delivery people refused to pick up our original old refrigerator. It took two weeks to get the credit card refund and we sat with an old refrigerator on our porch for two weeks with LPX still refusing to pick it up. Sam's offered us $319 to take care of the disposal ourselves. We handled it but we never got the $319. It turns out that Sam's changed the order to reduce the price but we had already paid for it so the Sam's order no longer agrees with our credit card charge. The trick on this order resulted in LPX trying to deliver another (3rd) refrigerator. The Sam's website did not fully disclose the clearance for the door on the first fridge and it became a nightmare from there down to here. The system for delivering and hauling away is completely broken. The only solution is to buy refrigerators from a store where you can see and make your own measurements and whose delivery team works for the seller not someone else.

I got a lemon!!

Within 11 months after buying my fridge the compressor went out. Almost exact one year after that the compressor and condenser went out. Love my fridge but I think I got a lemon. Very disappointed. Not looking forward to another breakdown.

I bought this fridge when mine died. Please don't bother. While it keeps cold, it is not user friendly. After several annoying days, I returned the unit and replaced it with a french door fridge with adjustable shelves.
