It actually provides more space than the double door versions and it makes it easier to organize the space. I love the freezer on the bottom for the same reason!! I was hesitant at first about not having the option for the water dispenser- but I got over that fast! Just get a Brita dispenser- better value.

Freezer is spacious and love it being on the bottom so my daily grabs in the fridge are closer to eye level. Lots of drawers for organizing meats, vegetables and fruits as well as room in the door for condiments etc. Could stand to have more brackets for the fridge shelf placement. Other than that few complaints

In the past I have owned the traditional "side-by-side" refrigerators, so this was my first purchase of the bottom-freezer design, aka "the morgue". I have now owned it for almost 2 months and 2 things stand out: It is very Quiet, and NO fingerprints. It makes a slight noise briefly only when cylcing, and unlike older stainless appliances, the new print-proof technology really works! Fingerprints don't show at all (we take extra care when opening and closing, and there are no children here, so situations may vary!) The LED light inside is a pleasant blue tint and very bright. My only issue was during the initial set-up, there are 2 thick clear plastic protectors at the base of the door handle, and they cant be pulled-away or cut without possible scratching the door. To remove them, you have to use the door handle removal hex key they enclosed; even if the handle side is o.k. for you upon arrival , u still have to remove these unsightly tabs. Simply start turning the hex key as if you were GOING to remove and/ or change the door-handle position, and they will drop out. Lots of room and the freezer section has 2 slide-out drawers so easy to organize. The temp for both the freezer and fridge section is factory pre-set upon plug-in, and it can be adjusted but I have not touched mine and it works fine. There is a digital display of the temps inside the door, and the pre-set "0 37" factory arrival setting has worked for me but you can adjust temps if needed. I chose NOT to connect an ice-maker, so make sure if NOT using an ice maker turn the switch (located in the freezer section) to OFF position!! (see manual)..do this as instructions says or could cause problems and noise later.

The refrigerator space with three shelves, two crispers and the the deli drawer gives me so much flexibility for storing everything. The deli drawer is a brilliant addition, so that you can see the cheeses and meats with ease! The freezer, with two levels makes it impossible to lose anything in the freezer. Excellent design! I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am limited to certain size specs because of the cabinet built in and this fridge had the best cubic square feet for the size dimensions! It has so much room on the door and on the inside. And I love that the ice filter is easily accessible inside the fridge. This is our first fridge in 25 years so it’s life changing for and the tall men in our family to have the fridge on top now. So happy I finally got a new fridge and that this gives me what I need since I am not able to get the biggest fridge available in the market right now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is very spacious cools very well but it has a few major faults. This first fault, is the gasket around the fridge door. This gasket was not fitted properly from the factory and caused excess moisture. The other major fault, is the main circuit board. This board shorted out about 8 months into ownership of the fridge and cost me $100's in spoiled food. Luckily both problems were fixed by LG under warranty but took about 4-5 weeks to order in the replacement parts and for the installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After delivery of my bottom freezer refrigerator, I was amazed at the amount of space I have in the refrigerator and freezer. I had limited space in which to place a refrigerator and had had a side by side. I actually thought that a side by side for my space would ccx surely provide more space for my needs. Boy, was I wrong! This refrigerator freezer is absolutely the best- from the incredible amount of space to the shape and production of the ice cubes! I love it!!!!

I once saw a weird interview with Elon Musk in which he explained his vision for Tesla cars. He was literally crying and he said, "There are so few THINGS that make people happy." But, actually, this fridge makes us happy. It is truly compact on the exterior for a 25-26 cu foot capacity refrigerator and fits in a 33" wide, 28" deep niche (doors stick out as we wanted them to). It also has a really solid feel and is whisper quiet. But it's the space--the amount of it and the way it is arranged--that we love most. Things are easily visible and easy to reach in the upper, fridge section. In the freezer, the ice-maker is wider than we would like, and does its little whizzing noise a bit too often, but for people who use a lot of ice, it is probably fine. The one thing we had to buy separately (and wish came included) was a second drawer guide (divider) for the lower section of the freezer). But we love the space so much I am not taking any stars off for that.

Love the look and design but returning today. Freezer drawer does not line up properly causing seal to leak and fill the freezer with frost and ice. After 3 service calls within 3 weeks and nobody was able to fix it decided to return. Wish it had worked correctly.
