[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this fridge, enormous capacity for it's footprint, good controls, excellent ice. Some drawbacks: it could use a light lower in the shelving section, if items are placed too close to the circulator, some freezing of items can occur and it can be noisy when it cycles up the compressor.

I wanted 1.) a bottom freezer so that I could easy see and reach my food. 2.) large enough vegetable bins to store my vegetables and lettuce in without being cramped. 3.) But MOST importantly, I wanted a quiet refrigerator because I have an open concept living, dining room & kitchen. The refrigerator is not only spacious and beautiful, but almost totally SILENT! Instead of a traditional motor it works by magnetic fields that operate a piston. The latest technology! AND I find that any smudges on the stainless steel wipe off daily and don’t leave streaks behind! I LOVE MY LG refrigerator! I highly recommend this product without reservations!

I have had my LG for about two years! I am pleasantly happy to to say that I have no issues on any parts of the refrigerator ! It is spacious and accommodating to all sizes of foods and drinks. I love the fact that it is so quiet and looks so modern. I would have no problem with buying another LG product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this probably 3 weeks ago and ice maker is pooling and making an ice block in the ice container. This is my second refrigerator with an ice maker issue. I will say this… LG completely replaced my refrigerator and we had hoped it was just that refrigerator. Apparently it’s not. Still ice maker issue only different problem. Still waiting on someone to repair it after 2 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited about this fridge with the single door up top and drawer freezer style. Lots of room and just what we wanted. Unfortunately the compressor has gone out not even a year into having the fridge. It seems the compressor type used in this model has been known to have issues. Waiting to get this fixed now. Other than that we actually do like this fridge.

My wife & I bought this fridge about a month ago, we always liked the bottom freezer , But this one has to be the best one yet ,The large capacity ice maker is great the amount of ice can supply us with plenty of ice for any get together. Plenty of room in the upper fridge as well now we can actually see what we have . Love this refrigerator!!!!

Our 21 year old refrigerator failed us and we needed a new one quick! My husband and I began doing research on the websites of various brands as well as the big box stores. We thought we had a pretty good idea what was available out there and the sizes and prices. We decided we needed.a 24 or 25 cubic foot refrigerator with a bottom freezer in stainless steel or white. Most all of the sites priced the refrigerators at about the same price for what we were looking at. My husband went to one of the big box stores nearby and was told they were unavailable, on back order for months and then shown something totally different than what he had asked to see. Switch and bait? We then made some phone calls and did more internet searching only to find everything but what we wanted and needed (dimension being a huge factor). We decided to go to a privately owned local appliance store that we have purchased appliances from before. We told the salesman what we were looking for and what we had researched. He took us straight to the LG model that we thought we wanted. He asked if we had seen it or just read about it. We told him that nobody had them so we hadn’t been able to actually see one. He immediately began showing us the features and explaining them. Water filter for good ice cubes, air filter for clean circulation in the refrigerator, moveable door bins and shelves, LED lights in both the top and bottom. He explained the warranty, delivery, haul away, switching the door from left to right and then he told us the price. It was just what we had expected to pay and had everything we wanted. Best of all it was in stock, with 2 left! Plus they could deliver it in 2 days and haul away the old one for no charge ( bye bye). We were not told that everyone buys French doors or too freezers. We were not told that another brand was a better deal. We had roamed around while the salesman was checking on availability and delivery and we saw a good number of other brands that were smaller and more costly or had features we have no use for. We left after making all of the arrangements and felt like we have a great refrigerator that more than meets our needs for a very fair and honest price. Thank you LG for making a refrigerator that fits our kitchen space and needs and budget. We have told family and friends about our “find” and some have been in our home and actually seen the new appliance. A couple of the women are jealous. I am just pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my larger cubic ft. 2 door refrigerator/bottom freezer with this smaller, one door, bottom freezer. I checked Consumer's Report but also learned I didn't want a 2 door, or a ice maker on a door. This refrigerator is smaller but I can store more inside without the separation in the middle for a 2 door. This refrigerator has nice strong wide shelves and door shelves. I had to replace another brand's refrigerator in less than 4 years due to door shelves and inside shelves made of thin inferior quality. The shelves bent, and 3 door shelves broke into pieces or cracked. More than enough ice is made in the freezer ice bin. This refrigerator is reliable, energy efficient and I expect it to servie us well.

It actually provides more space than the double door versions and it makes it easier to organize the space. I love the freezer on the bottom for the same reason!! I was hesitant at first about not having the option for the water dispenser- but I got over that fast! Just get a Brita dispenser- better value.

If we keep the door opened too long, it makes a sound to alert you that the door is open. It fits perfect in our kitchen!
