[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG refrigerator is so different from my old one. I always had a hard time looking for items in it and having to bend over while looking. This new refrigerator has the freezer on the bottom and the other food in the top. That means I don't have to bend over to get my foods. It also has a drawer that I can put deli meats and cheeses or whatever I want. This is vfc super handy. Everything is at eye level. I thought I would like it when I first saw it in the store and this is true. We are enjoying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I like this LG refrigerator it’s my second one. My first one lasted 15 years, which I think is a good amount of time. This one seems to have nice features seems more roomy inside. I like that the front of the fridge Is fingerprint resistant.

Good Refer, however the temp setting is over 4 degrees off. Set it for 32 and it will run at 36 or more. Set the freezer at 0 and it will run at 3 or 4. Not what I expect from an LG. Called in for a repair, said they would call in 3-4 days 7 days later no contact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first 18 months, the refrigerator worked just fine. Now for the last two weeks, it has not functioned at all. It needed a compressor and both evaporators. This is very concerning that the major components of this refrigerator literally died. We have been using two ice chests to maintain our meats at a cool level. Buying bags of ice every two days. We replaced the 15-year-old General Electric Refridgerator for the LG because it was highly recommended by the consumer report magazine. Clearly our miistake.

We owned the LG refrigerator for about 2 months. Its operation is flawless with the following exceptions. The numeric freezer/refrigerator temperature settings at the unit are settings, not actual interior temperatures. It's not helpful. Active temperature displays would have been helpful. The $.50 icemaker power rocker switch is inconveniently located on the icemaker unit buried deep in the rear of the freezer drawer. My wife is 74 years old, I'm 76. My wife is unable to bend all the way down to even see the switch let alone use it. Why wasn't the switch located conveniently located at the top of the unit next to the temperature setting indicators?

Our 21 year old refrigerator failed us and we needed a new one quick! My husband and I began doing research on the websites of various brands as well as the big box stores. We thought we had a pretty good idea what was available out there and the sizes and prices. We decided we needed.a 24 or 25 cubic foot refrigerator with a bottom freezer in stainless steel or white. Most all of the sites priced the refrigerators at about the same price for what we were looking at. My husband went to one of the big box stores nearby and was told they were unavailable, on back order for months and then shown something totally different than what he had asked to see. Switch and bait? We then made some phone calls and did more internet searching only to find everything but what we wanted and needed (dimension being a huge factor). We decided to go to a privately owned local appliance store that we have purchased appliances from before. We told the salesman what we were looking for and what we had researched. He took us straight to the LG model that we thought we wanted. He asked if we had seen it or just read about it. We told him that nobody had them so we hadn’t been able to actually see one. He immediately began showing us the features and explaining them. Water filter for good ice cubes, air filter for clean circulation in the refrigerator, moveable door bins and shelves, LED lights in both the top and bottom. He explained the warranty, delivery, haul away, switching the door from left to right and then he told us the price. It was just what we had expected to pay and had everything we wanted. Best of all it was in stock, with 2 left! Plus they could deliver it in 2 days and haul away the old one for no charge ( bye bye). We were not told that everyone buys French doors or too freezers. We were not told that another brand was a better deal. We had roamed around while the salesman was checking on availability and delivery and we saw a good number of other brands that were smaller and more costly or had features we have no use for. We left after making all of the arrangements and felt like we have a great refrigerator that more than meets our needs for a very fair and honest price. Thank you LG for making a refrigerator that fits our kitchen space and needs and budget. We have told family and friends about our “find” and some have been in our home and actually seen the new appliance. A couple of the women are jealous. I am just pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for two years and it has been PERFECT! However, it just stopped working suddenly. I've been dealing with LG for about 2 weeks now trying to get it repaired. I love this fridge, but if it only lasts 2 years, it's definitely not worth the money.

My old refrigerator finally died this past January. This LG refrigerator was slightly different (my other one had french doors, this one just the one), but it feels roomier, both the refrigerator and the freezer portion. I am thrilled with my purchase. I've not had to change the filter yet, but the instructions make it seem manageable. I've not had an LG refrigerator before, but so far, two months in, I'm sold on this product & company. Really hoping the reliability keeps holding up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using appliance for another a month. Everything near perfect. Wish I did not have pay for an ice maker that I didn’t need or want. Fortunately it soured my waste much space. Would like to have more shelf flexibility at this price.
