My new Windmill WhisperTech was a breeze (ha!) to install! Compared to my old unit, this new device is so QUIET. I never fully appreciated how loud my old AC unit was until I installed the WhisperTech. I would strongly recommend downloading the user-friendly app, which helped me set up and control the new unit. Based on my experience, I am going to purchase a second WhisperTech for my elderly parents.

This is a great AC - beautiful inside and out (my window is first floor street facing, so nice bonus that it looks good on the outside.) I live in a small apartment, so I particularly like that the AC vents upwards, and isn't blowing on me directly in a small room. The interface takes a beat to get used to, since it's not as basic as a basic AC, but the app is a bonus and love that the LED light turns off.

The instructions with the AC are clear & easy to understand. The look of the AC is appealing & the angle the air blows out from the top is effective to cool the room. The remote is helpful. I had an issue come up & customer service was prompt & solved my problem. It was easy to install.

I usually don’t write reviews but the customer service I experienced here was excellent! I purchased an AC unit through them and once I installed it, I realized it wasn’t blowing cold air. I contacted customer service and they had a new AC unit being shipped out the next day and even compensated me for the installation fee I had to pay for getting someone to come out and install it! And the new one works perfectly:) thank you!!

I ordered a Windmill Whispertech AC and it was super loud. I was walked through a very comprehensive troubleshooting process and it did not fix the issue. They overnighted me a new AC unit at no additional cost. The new unit is amazing. It is so quiet - incomparable to regular window units. It also does a great job of cooling down my house. I live in a small Cape Cod and this one AC cools the entire first floor (with the help of some ceiling fans!).

Looks nice but I find it similarly as noisy as other windows AC units. I bought it because it claims to be less noisy but it’s really not (I still have to turn it off because the noise is annoying)… I also don’t like that the air comes from the sides of the unit vs the front and it does not cool as quickly as other window AC’s I’ve had and currently use. It’s installation was the same as other units, although it seemed a little heavier; however the instructions for installation were clear and helpful…

We haven’t really put the A/C through its paces yet. But, I wanted to write a positive review about the customer service. When I installed the Windmill (6000) in a small bedroom window, the first night it was really loud. In contrast we have the Midea U shaped A/C in our front window. That is really quiet and I love that A/C but it was a hair too wide for the bedroom window screen frame. So, I opted for the Windmill which just fits. So, yes, 1st night. Loud. Like an airplane turbine winding up. I emailed them the next morning saying I wanted to return it (I planned to replace with a Midea and I would just force the Midea into the frame). They emailed me back so fast. I sent them a video of the A/C operating. Within a day and a half we had a replacement shipped by a local delivery company. It was MUCH quieter than the first one. And, so far it works great. -I like in the bedroom that the air blows upwards. I have a fan clipped next to it if I want to blow it my way. -So far gets the room cool fast. Though it hasn’t really been challenged by a heat wave yet. -I like the app function saying how much power you used. -There’s a couple tweaks in the app I wish could change. I would like to know when/if the A/C is running. I want more control for when I’m sleeping. It’s not clear cut as far as scheduling. Basically, I want the A/C to turn on when the room goes above a certain temperature (when I’m sleeping) and turn off when it reaches that set point. And, I want a daytime setting (I’m not in the bedroom and it doesn’t need to run at the same temperature parameter). It’s been weirdly difficult to get it working this preference. Maybe I’m just not understanding. But, the scheduling part feels clunky or not fleshed out in a way I would like to use it. We’re not typical A/C users. We prefer it not running. Eco mode is annoying because it fires up the fan intermittently. If I set it to “cool mode”, it just runs and I don’t want that. I only want it to run/turn off minimally in a way where I don’t lose sleep because it’s too hot. Which, unfortunately due to climate change, there are more and more of those nights in the summer.

We started off a little rough during shipping and made the air conditioner a little noisy but without hesitation they ask for some pictures and some video of the issues and they sent me out a new one their customer service is superb Thank you very much for taking care of the situation so quick

The AC works really well and arrived quickly. The app is super awesome and I love that I can turn my AC on or off without needing the find the little remote or walk over to it. Installation was fairly easy. I really struggled with and am still concerned about the “screws” though. They included screws but there’s nothing to actually screw them into. I’m a bit nervous about it falling out of my window if something hits it or something of that nature. Other than that I’m really happy with it!

I purchased the 6k unit and found that the Wi-Fi would not work at all. thought I'd wasted the extra I paid for this unit based on that feature. But I was wrong. a few chats with customer service, and they sent out a new unit at their expense! and showed me a place to take my old one to recycle it. that was helpful. as I had the old one also to get rid of. All good things to say about the new unit, and the customer service!
