I bought thinking it would be nice to have on hand when I needed a quick rice dish instead of cooking rice in a rice cooker. We were very disappointed including my young daughter who loves any kind of rice. She said it had no taste and, after tasting, I totally agreed. Maybe if you added it as a base and then seasoned it in a skillet it would taste better but the whole reason I bought it was so I wouldn't have to prepare in such a way when needed quickly. I hate to waste so i will try to doctor the rest instead of throwing out but i am very disappointed.

We love this rice. Sams cannot keep it stock though. Gave my Sister a few bags and she loved it also. Her Husband doesn't like rice. Strange . Anyway it is enough for her for supper and a small lunch the next. I always add some onion, a little cabbage, and some spicy chili sesame oil and fry it. So, so delicious. We love sesame oil and spicy so quick with this to add to customize this great rice. Please try to keep in stock !!

I bought some of these to throw in the freezer in case I forgot to bring something. I have eaten them three times now. In my opinion, it needs a little soy sauce. It would be cool if they put some individual packets in there, but maybe they don't freeze well. I will buy these again.

Omg, I have a lot to say about this. First, It’s the perfect portion size in each bag. Second, the flavor in it is delicious! Third, it’s quick to heat and eat. Fourth, it’s fulfilling and can use it as a dish by itself. I have already bought it 4 times.

Don’t know what you did to the fried rice but I’ve been purchasing it for a while and always liked it but this time even cooking it like I always have some of the rice is not getting done even after adding extra cooking time it still has crunchy pieces of rice in it.

I bought this thinking my 92 year old mom would like it. Fried rice is her favorite food. I like it too. I heated one up for lunch and she took one bite and pushed it away. Before tossing it I tasted it. I tossed. I still have the remainder in the freezer.

I use several of the packs (like 3 of the 6) for a great, quick family dinner, has a mild flavor, so I might add a fried egg, chopped mushrooms, some soy & hot spices to extend and make it bolder for us. I nuke it from frozen to begin, but then fry it off (just a little olive oil) in big electric skillet. It’s delicious and my family loves the entree. On the other hand, as is and just nuked + a little soy or sauce, it’s a terrific lunch for work.

Good for frozen. The edamame beans never really softened and remained crunchy (could be a pro for those who like that texture). The chicken pieces are large which acted like ice cubes, taking forever to heat through. Rice stayed gummy whether prepared on stovetop or microwave.

This is my go-to meal for hectic evenings. Im a single mom with teenagers in sports, life gets crazy. I love the ease of just popping this in the oven and a hot meal is done! They actually like this better than getting it from the local take-out because the chicken isnt all breadding. And, we get 2 meals out of the box, what a bargain!!
