Tried this for the first time the other day. Cooked according to recommendation and couldn't keep the rice from burning to the bottom of the pan. The addition of bacon to fried rice was awful and the combination made the entire house smell. Had to go out for dinner instead. Waste of money. Will never purchase again.

The rice is very dry with a very weird smoky taste that does NOT belong in this flavor rice, it is not bacony but a wood smoke which threw off the taste. This may be better if mixed into a sauce to moisten it and hide that weird taste, not what I was expecting at all, total fail.

In general, it's a good product for the money, and isn't difficult to prepare. My main hangup is the bacon. As much as I love bacon, I don't feel it's an enhancing component to this meal. I'd much rather have a traditional fried rice. Personally, I do not plan on purchasing this again.

I wish I read ingredients better before buying. In my opinion, bacon does not belong in Chinese Fries Rice. The very smoky flavor makes this fried rice inedible. Smokey fried rice is not my thing. It's a shame as I was looking forward to an alternative to homemade for a quick side dish.

The title of this should be Chicken Fried Rice with Bacon. This was the one thing I didn't think I had to look to see if there was pork products in it. No authentic chicken fried rice I have ever had was made with bacon. Now I'm stuck with 5 more bags of this in my freezer.

I bought this last week. I think every product I have purchased from Sam's Club we have loved. This is the first (and only) time I would say this is well under par. It would be MUCH better to go over to any Chinese take-out and spend the $10 freezing what you don't use for later. You will get much more fried rice and it will be good. I cooked this to directions. The pea (like) veggies were still uncooked. And the portions are just not worth the money. So, I would not recommend this product. I really think it is below Sam's Club standards.

Such a quick and easy meal for those long work days. Taste great right out of the microwave.

Does not need bacon. Should be called bacon and chicken fried rice.

Smells and tastes like hot dog. Now we are stuck with 5 bags of it lol
