I bought this to keep my 2 cats out of my bedroom and it works like a charm. Its easy to set up and easy to use. My cats haven't tried to jump on it or over it. Like the other reviews, my only wish was that the door was wider. It works fine though and I have no problem going in and out of it. Walmarts price was much less than others online too which was a plus.

i bought this for my hallway to separate a new cat I unexpectedly inherited from my house cat. first off this is the tallest gate that I could find on the market and is plenty tall for deterring cats to jump over. however, my cat did slip through the bars and within 5 minutes of it being up as I caught him on the other side. I was able to remedy this with some household items (duct tape, card board, etc.) been working fine ever since. I'm pretty impressed with the build quality and ease of setting it up, and I thought the price was quite reasonable. I would recommend buying this for these reasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, sturdy baby gate. It’s great for my toddler and our dogs. It was easy to install and use. It’s nice that the gate opens for when I’m in a hurry. I like that it’s tall so the dogs can’t jump over it.

will not hold much weight because the pressure mounting system wont let you tighten it fully because the door will not open if u do. Bought it to keep dogs apart but the dogs start at 50 lbs so when they push on it or jump on it and pull the on the gate it pops open even when locked not just latched.its not worth the money in my opinion because you cant use it for larger dogs or children because they can move it from the doorway. although it maybe better used for stairs. dont know i didnt try it on a stairway

while this gate is awesome and i really like it, my dog broke it with no problem at all. he managed to break one of the bars and then he could squeeze right through giving him access to the whole house! however we fixed it ourselves so well see how well that works out. its just a little irritating that we had to buy a 42.00 dollar gate and turn around a week later and spend 10.00 to fix it. but otherwise it is a nice gate just not dog durable.

I had to buy two in order to keep my pets out of the living room and dining room as we just painted and bought new furniture...I have to say they are exactly what I needed. I originally thought they were a bit taller but I was pleasantly surprised to open the package and see that they weren't, they are tall enough for either my cat or dog to jump and the rails are close enough together to not have to worry about my kitty slipping through. I chose the site to store option to save on shipping and they were at my local store 2 weeks ahead of time! I am extremely happy with my purchase!

We bought this gate over a year ago. Use in our home consists of Grandkids, pugs & a 155lb Bloodhound Mastiff mix. This gate has stood up to them all. Yes the walk thru is a bit narrow, but so are the rest of the walk gates we have seen. This gate still looks & operates great after a year of hard use. It is so good we have decided to purchase 2 more for other areas of our home. There are some comments about it not latching properly & being hard to open, just readjust the pressure evenly until it operates smoothly & easily. BUY THIS GATE FIRST, YOU'LL SAVE LOTS OF MONEY BY SKIPPING THE INFERIOR PRODUCTS. I wish we had!

We truly thought this was a pressure gate. It's not, you have to screw pads on the wall first then the gate is pressured onto the pads. We do like how high the gate is. We have only had this gate a couple weeks so we are not to sure how the durability will be. We don't like the latch lock system - it's made of plastic and locks weird. The bars are not far enough apart for our cats to get to their litter box so the door has to stay open a lot. The door only swings one way.

She likes that she can see me vs the gate we had before. Definitely an upgrade! I like the sleek, black, metal design and the ease of the functions. Buy this!!!

He is getting taller so I like that this gate is taller than the normal ones. It was easy to put together and even came with a 4" entender piece for wider door ways. It is a little hard to open but maybe i just need to get the hang of using it more.
