We put the gate up to keep our dog out of the kids playroom but allow us to still see the kids without having to open the door (the dog likes to destroy stuffed animals & all small stuff). We installed it in about 5 minutes & it works great.

works equally well for keeping dogs, cats and children out of a room. The height is needed and a lot cheaper than getting the same gate at a pet store.

The gate was too tall and prevents us from closing the door with the gate in place. We babysit our great grandchildren while our granddaughter works. Having to use a lift chair to get up I needed something that I would be able to keep our pets separated but still be able to watch their movement. The high prevents me from closing the door because of the door knob

I purchased this item and promptly installed it at the top of my steps as a safety gate. It looked very nice and installed easily. However, a month later when reaching to open the gate, the thing broke on a "supposed" welded piece that connects it to the bar that pivots open. How horrific if it had been a child that happened to and they fell down the steps! Will be attemptimg to return.

Description did not match product. This is not the extra tall gate as advertised. Very disappointed.

does the job mostly - doesn't work well with a 32" opening. Too small for the expander, and the threaded posts are at their max.

The gate was easy to install but the door needs to be wider. I have to turn sideways to go through it.

It was perfect for what I needed it and it’s so easy to assemble. I’m very happy with my new baby gate. Thanks..!!
