But Tide was one if the only ones that left my clothes with that fresh and clean scent and feel. It was no surprise that I would absolutely love this product! The scent is amazing and I think it really does leave the clothes a little softer than if you were to use regular Tide. A+ in my book! Two brands you can always count on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that I'm a huge Tide fan. Have been for many years. However, I must admit that I completely stopped using liquids, once Tide Pods became available. Due to some relatively new hiccups with Tide pods - they're not properly dissolving anymore in the washer - I have been at my wit's end. Laundry had become more of a costly chore than before in addition to becoming a massive headache. I've always enjoyed doing laundry until the pods' fiasco, which I'm sure their initial components were changed, since children and teenagers were eating them. Nevertheless, this Tide HE liquid with Downy couldn't have came at a better time. I love the scent. It takes only a small amount to properly cleanse a full, dirty load of laundry. I have kids, like most, that play in dirt and mud. They spill food and drink constantly on their clothes among other things. I am definitely the right person to test this product. At first I didn't read the directions and added a cup (the lid) of washing detergent to my HE washer. I won't lie. I had to rinse that first load 2 times to remove all the suds. Lol, it was a mess. Almost like a scene from a movie. READ THE DIRECTIONS! Hahaha After reading the directions, especially the correct amount to use of this highly concentrated liquid detergent, I began my second load of dirty clothes. No extra suds this time. Lol I must admit, I was quite shocked at the job this small amount of detergent did for this particular load of laundry, which contained soiled training pants and underwear of my toddler, who is potty training. Again, this extremely small amount of concentrated product by Tide had actually removed all stains and bad smells from my toddler's undergarments and a few pairs of shorts and pajamas. After inspecting each piece of laundried clothing prior to placing the full load into dryer, I did not have to rewash nor resoak any of the filthiest undergarments. The entire load was cleaned perfectly and smelled like Downy fabric sheets. Awww yes, that Downy smell. I probably could've waived adding a few dryer sheets to this load, but I didn't want to chance this particular load I'm the dryer. Static cling on undergarments isn't a nice feeling at any age. Yet, the next load I washed and dried, which contained his soiled linens, came out clean as a whistle and smelling wonderfully. This is where I decided to take a chance and forget about adding any dryer sheets. Let me just say this, this formula of Tide with Downy for HE machines is absolutely worth every cent. The dirtiest of clothes...the heaviest of soiled linens and undergarments...the regular wear and spills/stains...all come out clean, stain free, smelling great, and super soft. Due to the truly concentrated liquid product of Tide's HE laundry detergent in liquid form with the Downy additive, a little goes a long way. One bottle will absolutely wash exactly the amount of clothes depicted on the bottle, like 32 loads, 64 loads or 80 loads. Additional dryer sheets are truly optional, although I would add one or two to sweaters or knit garments. FINALLY, a liquid detergent that actually does what it claims to do. The reduced costs are reasons enough to switch to Tide's HE liquid detergent with Downy. Make sure to follow the instructions for the correct amount of concentrate to use per load. When drying, use dryer sheets on your own accord, because they are not necessary for each load. Yes, I know "I've got to be kidding", however, I'm not. I will and I have been recommending this product to everyone. Clean clothes for a fraction of your usual costs is absolutely fabulous. The Con: This product does not mean that some presoaks or stain removers aren't necessary. We all know that certain elements have to be treated differently prior to washing. I didn't have grass stains, blood, nor any other stainable items to clean. The Pro: I did have washable paint, soiled clothing and linens that I rinsed off prior to washing. One wash without any soaking nor pretreatment properly cleansed these garments to which I previously described. That in itself is a great fete. HE Tide with Downy seriously rocks!

I absolutely loved this detergent. Tide is one of our to go brands and I like the original scent, but add a little touch of Downy and your clothes are not only clean and soft, but they also have a slight floral scent as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TIDE WITH DOWNEY! i was a little nerves about trying a new landery soap cause i thought i had one that i actully liked after trying so many. I thought what if i didnt like the sent or would it make my colors look washed out? Well i am very glad i took a chance because it smells amazing and the sent last for a long time leaving your whole room smelling great not only that I even washed my bed set with it and lefted it feeling softed and smooth. Wrankgle free. I will defiantly make this my new landery soap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this four stars because like most Tide, it’s a very good detergent. One star is off because I didn’t find the Downy noticeable. I use actual Downy when I want to soften my laundry, and the separate softener softens better than the detergent softener combo. The smell was stronger than regular Tide but not overwhelming, and not unpleasant. And since it’s Tide, your clothes will be clean. But if you prefer minimal scent on your clothes you will want to skip this.

One of my favorite laundry detergents to use. This Tide detergent is a 2 in 1 product being that it’s combined with Downy fabric softener. It leaves a wonderful scent on clothes, bedding, and any other fabrics I wash and they feel refreshed, clean, and soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I would really put this detergent to the test. We have 2 spoiled dogs and they have beds in our bedroom and the living area. So that's 4 total dog beds in our home. What comes with 2 dogs and 4 dog beds? Dog odor. I dedicated my Saturday morning to getting this chore done so I could head out for some errands later. I washed all four beds separately with Tide Plus a touch of Downy HE liquid detergent and hot water. When the last one was dry, I ran out for a few hours. When I returned and opened the door to enter my house, I was greeted with the amazing smell of fresh laundry! It was wonderful! I thought, this will last until the end of the day and then it will be completely gone. Wrong! It's Sunday evening and there is still a fresh smell throughout my home. I plan to strip every bed in the house and wash all of our people bedding with this detergent! And then I plan on tackling all the towels. I think I may be a little too excited about laundry detergent but when you have 2 large dogs and a simple wash of their beds fills your home with freshness, you definitely want to keep that freshness from fading. If you are looking for a great laundry detergent that delivers amazingly clean and fresh laundry, I would say give this a try! You'll be glad you did!

We went to the beach for a few days, and I washed a few clothes in my regular detergent that we used, and washed the towels in the Tide. My first load I didn't think was all that fresh smelling, but my load with Tide Plus A Touch of Downy was as if I had never went to the ocean. I will be using this from now on, it really worked great for me.

Tide with Downy is top notch. I cannot think of a bad thing to say. I am so happy that I got to try this product. It will now be my go-to laundry soap.
