[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid had a nice fragrance straight from the bottle. It has a sporty scent and gets out odors well. I appreciate that it has Downy added, so I don't need to use any added fabric softener. My clothes dried nice and soft. The scent does dissipate somewhat but still smells nice and fresh. I will continue to use this detergent as it works well for me.

So I put it to the test with a t-shirt that I love but hardly ever wear because its not soft & comfortable. I am a skeptic no more...my shirt was decidedly softer than it had ever been & the great long lasting scent was an added bonus! I would absolutely recommend this detergent to EVERYONE! TIDE FTW!!!

I have been using Tide for a long time, I try to change the scents with each bottle I purchase, the Tide with a Touch of Downy Liquid Laundry Detergent in April Fresh Scent is one of the nicest smelling Tide detergent I have used. Not only does the detergent smells good it also does a great work of removing stains. I use it for my toddler's clothes too and it does a great job of removing stains of God know what and at the same time keeps the clothes soft too. My only issue with this detergent rather all Tide detergent is that I find them a bit more expensive than some other brands but that is fine as long as it works. I also have to consider that I do not use any fabric softener when I am using this Tide with Downy so in average I am saving some money. One thing to take care though if using Tide with dark color clothes it is best not to wash them in hot water otherwise the color tends to fade in a ​long run. Overall I like it, will keep on using this detergent.

As always, Tide comes through with that tough, powerful get anything clean attitude. However, the added Downey softener provided a fresh, soft feel to the wash. The scent was light and refreshing. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

To give an honest review I used only Tide Plus a Touch of Downy HE Liquid when I did laundry two weeks ago. My clothes were not only clean but the fresh smelling scent has lasted. If you'd like to save money on laundry, I strongly recommend this product

The smell lingered through out the laundry room. I was not disappointed as my wash got done. My clothes had the refreshing smell of tide n Downey and that softness is unforgettable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this laundry detergent!! It smells amazing and it really did get stains out of some of my kids clothes. We have 2 toddlers and it got the stains out and is gentle enough to not irritate their skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Plus Downy HE Liquid was able to get tough stains out of my 1 yo's bibs and clothes which get covered in all sorts of food and dirt. While other brands leave some stains, Tide Plus Downy completely eliminated them, even when I didn't have time to pre-clean and soak the stains making my job easier and my daughter looking brighter. The only potential downside is it has a very strong scent which lasts through drying. I don't mind scented laundry detergent, but know some people may be surprised by how strong it is.

Towels came out softer and the line dried jeans were soft and not stiff as boards. The cleaning power was better than I expected. Some of the jeans were truly grungy as hubby had been working our van... I haven't used Tide in years and everything came out clean and noticeably brighter! I'm impressed! That's the good! The bad, well the perfume scent is just too strong. We live in a small apartment and it was overwhelming. The first load of jeans I may have mismeasured, adding too much because I pretreated a stain. I knocked it back on the towels and t shirts, but it was still too strong. In a big house it might not be so bad... And the ugly, there really isn't any, but I will reserve Tide for jeans, sweatshirts, and similar grungy work clothes as it really does a bang up job cleaning the harder stuff. I particularly like it for this HE washing machine. Some detergents promoted for HE machines left some scum on the inside of the machine. I was surprised this didn't since it had the Downy softener in it. Cleaned well and softened.
