Bought it, paid for it, when I went to it I was told they were sold out

These are not real switch controllers. I have an authentic Nintendo controller charger and these do not charge properly compared to the controllers that came with the switch. They still “work” but the charging takes forever. I cannot add a video, but while charging they blink rapidly vs the authentic controllers.

These are indeed genuine Nintendo Joycons at $16 less than MSRP, despite what some reviews suggest. Not only is the box correct, but also the joycons pair with my switch OLED and updated firmware. This is very difficult for counterfeit joycons. The plastic material is also the same as the original joycons for my switch. Sam's club would not risk it's reputation to send us bootleg joycons for a few bucks less. The stories about it not working as a replacement for their child's switch seem more likely to be user error. I feel silly for getting nervous. I will say the description is correct they are not the original colors but the neon red and neon blue joycons. In person they do look different than the packaging (which matches the pictures here so everything is kosher). So the real joycon color is slightly off from the box. However, the color on the box is basically the same as the color when I take a picture with my phone (strangely my phone doesn't capture the color well in a picture) so I imagine that is why some people say the color is wrong. But the colors indeed neon, unlike the images on the box - but matching the descriptive text. I wish they weren't neon and would strongly prefer grey, however for $16 under MSRP I can get a replacement shell in any color (including non Nintendo colors) for less than $16, so there's no reason not to.

My son got these as a Christmas gift- the box did not indicate these were a Nintendo product (the red square in left hand corner of box that would typically say Nintendo Switch is blank) and the green one stopped working after a couple of weeks.. it will not connect to console. Don't waste your money...

This came a little early and the box was not damaged it was in BRAND NEW condition and I absolutely love this. And anyone out there trying to figure out if it works for the switch lite YES it does thats what I have I just purchased a joy con charger I hope this review helps

Joy-Cons are still pretty pricey, but they go on sale periodically and when you factor in that you are essentially getting two controllers, it's not a bad deal. The assortment of colors is nice as well. Now I can finally play ARMS with my friends and whoop more than one person at a time in Mario Kart.

This item is misleading and so are a lot of reviews, I purchased what I thought to be the officially licensed Nintendo Joycons in red and blue and I got what looked to be the joycons, but were fake. There was no manufacturing markings on the controllers themselves, and the box was made to look like an official Nintendo box. Waste of money.

This isn’t Walmart’s fault, It’s Nintendo. These controllers are garbage to say the least. Two weeks in and they already have drift. This is some bootleg 99¢ quality, definitely not worth $80. It’s obvious they make them badly just so we have to keep purchasing them. I love Animal Crossing so this will not impede me from playing, although it would be better if I didn’t have this issue.

Pricy yes. But they fit everything Nintendo because theyre the actual controls. We first got an off brand, that also work good. But they dont fit any of the accessories. So now that we got these, just to have enough controls for our family, they fit everything.

If you don't already know, Nintendo will fix any OEM controller that has the "dreaded drift". I bought these to use while I wait for them to get back (sent them yesterday). Not much else to say. They're Switch controllers. They're over priced, but work....and no more drift!
