I had my pergola erected last Saturday, and it's just beautiful. I love it. I've gotten a lot of comments on it already. If you follow the directions closely, install the BILT app, and watch the video, it really does go up easily. It took a contractor with two helpers 4.5 hours to put it up, and they said there were no problems.

I love my new pergola. It's like having my oun outdoor restaurant table. When friends come over everyone wants to sit outside. It went together easily and we waterproofed it. It is the centerpiece of my backyard and ads value to my home. I recomend getting one. Fabulous!

We did not use the top layer of wood because we used polycarbonate roofing panels to provide protection during the rain. We also added outdoor curtains from Amazon to provide an additional touch. Our pergola, which covers a portion of our patio, has added a beautiful look to the backyard space (of 5 acres), and has won oooh's and awww's from friends and neighbors. Each piece is finely crafted, and the installation was so easy to arrange and have done. The pergola provides a bit of cover from the sun, and enchanting ambiance both in the daytime and at night. We are very glad we made the investment to our outdoor space. It's given us another "room" off the dining/kitchen area. And...it's a great backdrop for parties and get-togethers.

It did not disappoint! From delivery to set up everything went smoothly. Just take time to organize the pieces and it will go up easily. The pieces of cedar were of great quality for the amount that was spent on such a large pergola. It probably took about 8 hours to completely set up from start to finish. The directions were very easy to follow as well. Would definitely recommend this product and company!

My wife and I could not be more pleased. The product is a solid quality and after the install and the application of a solid stain, the results are amazing.

The new pergola has made a huge difference in the appearance and usability of our back yard. The build took around 5 hours from boxes to built and was super easy to do. We're looking into adding the Saxony XL grilling gazebo down the road as well, in part because of how well-manufactured and easy the pergola project went.

We were looking for something to put over the top of our water garden. This worked perfect. It still lets the sunlight through but at the same time provides the shaded that is needed. Looks Fabulous in the back yard with the water garden. Wife is very happy!!!!!!

This pergola is really nice. Though the cedar is slightly stained, we added stain and it really freshened the wood up. DO lay out EVERY SINGLE PIECE of wood before assembling. The directions were a bit wonky and I ended up using a corner pillar in the center, which left appearance holes where it shouldn’t have. But in the end no one would really notice.

My wife and I mulled over getting this pergola vs building our own for 6mos. We were terrified it'd be cheap materials. Holy moly am I glad we bought the Discovery kit - it's not cheap at all. Very sturdy! Looked just as great in person as it does in the photos! My wife loves it, she hung some curtain rods and now does tea parties w/ her buddies (not kidding). With the price of lumber this kit is like stealing its such a good deal. I will say, I'd reco staining it before you put it together. Also, make sure you have a friend and two drills and two ladders to put it together - this pergola is no joke!
