This pergola looks beautiful but after only a few the wood finish has started to peel away. Also the hardware is super cheap. Disappointing for how much this pergola is.

assembly was easier to follow with Bilt than with instructions that came with kit. Wish I'd have purchased and assembled in January instead of June. Texas heat was brutal.\nI had a little issue with holes not lining up. Ended up drilling larger holes to get boards lined up\nIt's now finished, sun shades are mounted and we love it!

I've had the pergola built for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. Its sturdy and heavy but also easy-ish to put together. Realistically you should have at least two people building one pergola. I would budget about 5 hours with two people to put it together completely. Overall great pergola, very happy with the purchase!

Freight company said the only day they could deliver was a Wednesday. I set up a date (taking a whole day off work) and was told delivery would be between 9am-5pm and they would call a half hour before they would arrive. I had to leave at 3:30 but my husband came home early from work and was home. After no call by 4:45pm, I told my husband he could go ahead and leave to do what he needed to get done. I figured if I got the call at that point, I could be home within 20 min. No call. Got home at 5:15pm and the boxes had been delivered and put in front of garage door. They couldn't even call and ask where to put them. Meanwhile, I spent my whole day with my phone by my side and not doing errands, so I was abiding by their delivery terms. Also, this was a "shocking deal" when I purchased it. Regular price said $2100. Now the price listed is the same price I paid. So much for a special savings price. Very deceptive.

I bought this in spring 2024 and my husband and I installed it in February of this year. We had a concrete slab poured and attached the metal plates to it after building the pergola. This past weekend we had an EF-1 tornado come through our property, winds were estimated at 110 mph, this pergola is still standing and unscathed!!! We had 30 foot trees uprooted and thrown to the ground. We are very impressed with the quality and build of this structure, 100% recommend!!!

Bought this one from Sam's 2 years ago and am still in love with it. Easy to assemble= good instructions. The wife and I frequently chill under this and I camp under it about 10 times a year (sling a camping hammock between the support posts). Awesome product, I would buy again.

We bought this pergola last May, my husband installed it mostly by himself, I only helped him to carry the heavy posts to the footings. Before purchasing this pergola, I had been shopping for a pergola for years. When I saw this online, I was drawn by its size and quality, think that it will elevate our backyard, and we both just completed our master’s degrees so I bought it as our graduation gift. The delivery took about two weeks to arrive, the crews unloaded the four packages in our covered porch. As recommended by some of the reviews, my husband read the instructions thoroughly, sort through all the pieces and group them. He poured 6 footings that is 16”wide x16” long x18” deep for stability. The installation of the pergola took him about two weekend days. It is absolutely gorgeous. We are very happy with this purchase.

Overall the pergola is very nice and instructions were clear. Unfortunately the instructions for how long the base is were wrong. All the concrete was laid out exactly to their plan of 114" on center, but when assembled the posts were just over 115" on center. I recommend building all of the long pieces FIRST, then calculate how far apart the posts will be. I am a woodworker and teach engineering. Normally you would cut everything to size as you are building because there can be some changes in wood or other things. So for a pre-made, pre-drilled pergola it's understandable that some holes don't line up, kind of annoying the post distance wasn't correct as they will not be centered on my columns. One thing to add, all of the pieces are short and use a lap joint and bolts to secure them. Cedar is a soft wood, so I glued all of the lap joints and bolted them. Because all of the pieces are bolted together I would not trust standing or putting anything heavy on top. From a learning experience, I recommend building all of the long parts in sections and then sealing them before assembly. Overall it is a fairly good product. The only reason I did not build this from scratch is because the price of lumber to make something similar would have been as much or more than the kit. Had I known all of the long pieces were bolted lap joints and the 6x6 columns are hollow I may have just held out and designed and built my own.

The pergola itself is fine. It has some weird gaps in the joinery as you might expect from something manufactured in China. But both the customer support team and the assembly folks were great. Very responsive, very friendly, very quick to resolve issues. I would buy from them again just because the customer service was exceptional

We bought our 12x16 pergola after purchasing another hrand, upon receiving the other brand it seemed “cheap” made of 1x6’s instead of 2x6’s. We returned the other and purchased our “Beaumont” and couldnt be happier, its sturdy, handsome, and easy to look at. We had a retirement party for a friend recently and everyone was complimentary and impressed at its design and beauty!
