Eating cream cheese goes so far back for me. My grandmother introduced me with the original RITZ. The creamy texture and the flexibility of use from being a shining lone star to make cakes and frosting bakery masterpieces. I love cream cheese and no one understands it.

The packaging on the original cream cheese blocks makes it hard to keep the cream cheese from being exposed to the air, so I usually use this version whenever I'm using it in a recipe. For example, when I make Oreo balls (crushed Oreos mixed with cream cheese and dipped in melted Hershey's chocolate), I use these blocks because I can use them all at once.

So good! I just made a cheesecake with this the other day, and it was amazing! It truly is much better than any other brand of cream cheese! So many things to do with this cream cheese! My favorite recipes are old school jello recipes from my childhood…like with cranberry jello, cranberry sauce and pecans all blended with a mixer, then into refrig. Or make a cheese ball with nuts…or soften it and make a dip. Sometimes I just keep it as a block and put jalapeño jelly on it…then scoop some onto a ginger snap cookie. A true staple in our frig.

i alwyas have this brand of cream cheese in my fridge because there is always use for it either if its for a bagel, cheesecake,e or just for crackers, it is creamy and light and easy to work with. if you leave it out for just like ten minutes or so it get to a soft room temp that is so so yummy.
