At the same time, the briquette has a light brittleness straight from the refrigerator — it holds its shape and is neatly sliced. After a few minutes at room temperature, this brittleness gently goes away, and the cheese becomes perfectly spreadable and silky. I'm not faulting Sam's Club for this, but I think the packaging is deliberately deceptive. People read labels from top to bottom so the first thing people see is a big "5" and the last thing they see is "4 packs". Anyone not paying close attention might assume that this is a five pack, which of course it is not. Despite this, the price for four packages is still pretty good and the product is decent.

Great and yummy cream cheese. Haven’t ever had any issues with it. I will say the off brand tastes exactly the same though so just depends on what brand you want or how much you are willing to pay for the philadelphia logo on the box lol. We like to add it to pasta and have used it for bagels too of course.

These sticks are wonderful for baking. I only use Philadelphia vs store brand. For cream cheese, I notice a huge difference in product quality. It is creamy and smooth. I appreciate the easy to read measurement tabs located right on the packaging to take the guesswork out of it. Excellent product! I also love how Philadelphia offers so may delicious recipes right on their website.
