I've had this salsa before and it was really good; however, I bought a jar this week and opened it on Christmas day. It was under some sort of pressure and salsa exploded everywhere when I opened it. It tasted very sour. Maybe it was just a bad batch.

Taste is ok but not great. The second time I ordered 3 bottles. All 3 built up pressure sitting in my pantry unopened and leaked all over everything. I'm really confused why they did this as they were not exposed to heat or anything. I will not be ordering these again.

I tried this with some tortilla chips. Probably about 4 chips and couldn’t eat anymore and threw out the entire bottle! Absolutely disgusting. I am not a picky eater but this was a total let down. It was very runny and tasted terrible. The date was fine just nasty salsa!!

I have always been disappointed when I try to replace my homemade salsa with packaged but I was tired and thought this looked “real” because I could actually see the onions and chopped tomatoes and the ingredient list was short. It was WONDERFUL and good enough to serve guests. Unfortunately, just one week later it was gone. I’m hoping the management has enough sense to keep it stocked from now on. Oh, and it was great with the roasted chicken and low carb tortillas I also picked up.

I have bought this on my last few Sams trips and my husband and I really love it. I don't know if it's really a salsa tho, seems more like pico de gallo but it has a really good flavor. It's mild so not very spicy, I would prefer more heat. However, it's really good on top of eggs, hashbrowns, with tacos, with tortilla chips and plenty more. Love to add this to my quacamole, saves me from having to chop up onions, tomatoes and cilantro. I'll keep buying it as long as it's available.

I usually buy the dave and chucks salsa but decided to give this one a try as i love Salento and miss the extra Salento flavor dave and chuck used to have the sams brand was horrible to say the least i was three bites in and tossed the jar never again

I like fresh, homemade salsa, but I decided to try this. Blah! It's not for me. It's light pink when poured in a bowl. It looks like unripened tomatoes were used and because of that it kinda looks like raw fish, and the onions are soft and limp. I will not be buying this again.

I set out to find the perfect salsa to have on hand at the house. Something that would be good for an after work/school snack but also something most people would enjoy when having company over. And I’m here to say this checks all the boxes. I’ve never had so many comments from family and friends about a store bought salsa/dip like this. I finally started to buy it in bulk because honestly, these giant jars only go so far when you're practically drinking it like it’s water. The cilantro, the heat level, the onion & garlic - its all perfect. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a classic and flavorful salsa!!

This was very thin, watery, and not much taste. The brand Sam's use to Carry was MUCH better. Seems like the Sam's brand in many products don't measure up. Won't be buying it again, in fact, I try to stay away from most Sam's brands now....if there is a choice. And the items to choose from are getting less. Not a good move.

The Sam's Club that I normally go to has a high turnover on this salsa and they constantly get new in stock. It's very fresh and love the flavor since most mass produced salsa tastes like chunky ketchup. If you live in Florida and have eaten at a restaurant called Lime Fresh, this salsa has an identical taste, yum! Here's the problem and I've seen this with other fresh items... I went to a different Sam's Club when on vacation, the salsa was not fresh and tasted old , not rotten but it had been sitting around and was passed its prime, returned it. Check the date before buying, The one that I got while on vacation was very close to expiration date and apparently they don't sell that fast so it's sat around and aged in not a good way....
