The art of putting the fruit, vegetable, or in my case, an apple on the machine to get it peeled is a little tricky; even trickier to remove since one has to be rather careful in removing the apple and then readjusting the blade arm. The is a whole section of apple which remains unpeeled at the top and bottom. The machine just peels the larger circumference. To make several apple pies in one go is not as quick as I had desired. But, all in all, this little gizmo is helpful. Wise to read and re-read the instructions several times for raising the blade arm, for cleaning it and for replacing the peeling razor (extras stored under the main body). The materials used in creating this Electric Peeler are a little light...mostly plastic or something. So far, it works reasonably well.

Absolutely wonderful peeler. It works great. We canned a bushel of apples for applesauce and this peeler saved a lot of time consuming work. Just the top and bottom of the apple needed trimmed off. Does not take any of the apple off while peeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone who peels a lot of potatoes or apples. I will never be without this handy little gadget. Price was very resonable and if something happens to my Rotato I will definitely get another one.

I have arthritis in my hands and have difficulty peeling food. This is terrific. Peels potatoes, apples, and pears even with some odd shapes. The blade is easy to remove and clean. It has done a great job for us. Price is right and the quality is good.

This peeler seems to have gone thru years on HSN before “graduation” to stand on its own. The material is rather cheap. However, it works good. If you are healthy and good at kitchen skills, chances are you are not going to gain much from using it. If you have fine motor skills issue, or if you are like me - a messy impatient cooker who tend to cut myself because of hasty and careless - then this tool is very welcoming and useful I recommend it anyway. It’s useful.

This item is even much better than I thought it would be . I even cleaned the peelings after I was done then deep-fat fried them. Only thing that went to waste was the tips of both ends. I am 74 years old and peeling is getting hard for me. This is so easy to operate and clean. I am thinking about ordering another one for backup incase this one quits working....

This peeler makes peeling much easier. We have been using it for peeling apples. It does not core or slice but I didn't want that. We have a hand crank one that does that and it is very messy. This peeler will leave a little peeling on the top of the apple at a little at the bottom but I just cut it off with a knife. If your apples, like mine from my place, have a few blemishes it will sometimes leave part of that. My only complaint which is very minor is that with these type of apple it will plug up the cutting blade. So if your apples are more perfect it should not be an issue.

So I bought this item for personal use based off the picture and the description. Its easy enough to assemble and operate but it does not peel the potatoes (or apples, etc) like the picture shows. Even if I run it two times I have to basically peel the rest of the skin off with a hand peeler. This defeated the purpose of me buying this!

I bought one of these years ago on line from a different company. The best item I have purchased so far for peeling. Attach the potato, turn on and you can do something else while it peels. I bought another two for a friend and her daughter. They just love it. I have seen it in your store, but it was not the electric one. Great product !!!!!

At first, my husband and I were both skeptical that this product would work up to our expectations but we figured for $20 it was worth a try. We were surprisingly amazed and impressed how well it functioned. It was fast and easy. It didn't hit all the spots and there were a few that I had to strip off by hand but, hey ... NO COMPLAINTS!! This gadget really saved us so much time. Next thing I know, I turned around and he was done peeling about twenty apples and a dozen potatoes in about as many minutes. So it was my turn to take over and finish up with canning the apples, and making dinner with the potatoes. Also I have to add that I usually don't bother with surveys, reviews, etc but I just had to add my 2 cents on here. The kids even joke that it was the best $20 we ever spent...so true!!! :)

This surprised me how well it works. I had another one similar that I threw away after one use but this one I would buy again. I hate peeling potatoes by hand so much that I would actually buy crappy instant mashed potatoes just to avoid peeling , but this thing changed my life . You still have to cut the very top and bottom of but worth it !
