So I bought this item for personal use based off the picture and the description. Its easy enough to assemble and operate but it does not peel the potatoes (or apples, etc) like the picture shows. Even if I run it two times I have to basically peel the rest of the skin off with a hand peeler. This defeated the purpose of me buying this!

Being alone and with advanced arthritis just peeling a potato can be a chore. I wasn't looking for anything gourmet, just something that worked. I tried a different brand from another company and it was trash. I found this and said well I will try one more time. After washing 10 potatoes in less than 4 minutes (enough for about 6 freezer meals) I was more than satisfied... now all i need is a potato slicer to go with it!

Pears-cooking variety were not the best to try this device on but that is what I needed help with. Peeled 1/2 bushel box of pears in about two hours which saved some sore hands and fingers. I would not pull the device out for just a couple of apples, etc. Have already offered it to church group that still does canning. Good Luck!

First of all I didn’t know this was such a thing until I stumbled across it on the Walmart app somehow. I ordered it and it came quickly and right before thanksgiving. I immediately took it out of the box and grabbed two potatoes. It was super easy to work and I was so amazed that I took videos of it peeling and sent in a group message to my family on Facebook messenger. They loved it as well. It was a very clean peel and actually faster than I thought it would be. It automatically shuts off when I gets to the bottom of the potato which is nice if your doing other things as well. Sadly I am returning it because the day before thanksgiving it peeled a whole potato and when I put the second one on it started going really slow then completely stopped and wouldn’t come back on.

It works real well on Potatoes. Time saver. hand saver It does make a groove in the potatoes (it is not smooth like a standard hand peeler. it holds about a 5 or 6 in potatoes, if you get the extra large potatoes, you will have to cut in half. I tried a few apples, and oranges, and it made more of a mess. If you have grandchildren, this will have them help out in the kitchen. If you peel a lot of potatoes I would say purchase one.

I have always hated peeling potatoes! Used to take me up to an hour to peel 5 lbs of potatoes because I hated it so so much! Only took me 10-15 minutes to peel a 10 lb bag using the Rotato Express. Looking forward to making lots of potato salads, apple pies, applesauce, and apple butter now that I don't have to peel!

Absolutely wonderful peeler. It works great. We canned a bushel of apples for applesauce and this peeler saved a lot of time consuming work. Just the top and bottom of the apple needed trimmed off. Does not take any of the apple off while peeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone who peels a lot of potatoes or apples. I will never be without this handy little gadget. Price was very resonable and if something happens to my Rotato I will definitely get another one.

I have arthritis in my hands and have difficulty peeling food. This is terrific. Peels potatoes, apples, and pears even with some odd shapes. The blade is easy to remove and clean. It has done a great job for us. Price is right and the quality is good.

I got this for my wife after I watched the You Tube video on this item and it works really well but you have to understand you aren't going to get all perfect potatoes and it will skip on the indented parts of the potato but otherwise it saves you a lot of peeling and you have to peel the top and bottom part that holds the potato and great gifts .she loves it ..

As my arthritis progresses it just keeps getting harder and harder to do things for myself. This fruit/veggie peeler makes it so easy for me and fast. I just put the food on and adjust the levers and away it goes. I just have to cut the food up into the size I need. I love it!
