I had to call vanilla customer service 2 days ago and they said there is a known issue with there being a advertising charge for the exact amount of the gift card. My card is on hold and I cannot use the money I paid for. Please stick to getting the physical cards.

I went online https://balance.vanillagift.com/, entered my card number, expiry and CVV, I am keep getting the same message, "System Error, try later on" I have been trying for several days with the same message. I called the customer service 1-833-322-6760, it gives you several options most of the will tell you to go to the https://balance.vanillagift.com/. So, you are going in circles. Their web site says, Select “Report a Problem” on the Manage Card page. From there you can select which issue you are having to report it. When you go to “Report a Problem” on the Manage Card page, it tells you to call the customer service 1-833-322-6760. Again, takes you back in circles. I called Sam’s Club and spoke with 3 separate representatives (because I was getting disconnected or they were transferring me back to vanilla gift customer service. Finally, the last one told me to go to my local Sam’s club and ask for help. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS GIFT CARD. BIGGEST SCAM.
