Beat frozen nuggets

Normally, I'm a do it yourself girl. I hate the cardboard tasting, overloaded breading nuggets from the freezer section. So, I make a ton and freeze them. But I decided to try these because I was intrigued by the package implying Chick-fil-A. The nuggets are more meaty, less breading. I cook them up in the toaster oven on convection setting. They crisp nicely! They have a good flavor. I'm not a huge pickle person; I didn't notice the dill. We toss together a honey mustard sauce to dip them in. My family loves them! Give them a try. Compared to other frozen nuggets, these are amazing! No tough dried out chicken here.

YUK, throw up disgusting

I usually buy the homestyle chicken bites in the blue bag, but my sams did not have them and I thought these were the same thing. I sure hope that Sams Club does not get rid of the Homestyle chicken Bites cause I absolutely hate the hint of dill pickle in the southern style ones. DISGUSTING!!!

Horrible!

Was hesitant about all the reviews so I finally bought some yesterday. Cook them up for lunch today took my first bite and I swore I bit into a pickle. It was the strongest pickle taste I’ve ever tasted besides eating the actual pickle. Nothing like Chick-fil-A if that’s what people are really saying.

Drop the "Hint of Dill"

The "hint of dill" ruins what would have been a good product. The "hint" is overpowering. Whoever thought that adding dill flavoring to this product needs to find a new line of work - maybe sweeping floors or cleaning toilets. At the very least, offer this product without the dill flavoring and CLEARLY indicate this on the front of the package in LARGE letters. I do not plan on repurchasing this product until the dill flavor is dropped. One is too high of a rating for this product!

Take the pickle flavor out!

I will start with the good things about them. They have a good texture when frying them. They are very juicy. However, the pickle flavored messed them up. This is coming from someone who does not like pickles on my chick-fa-la sandwich. So it’s no way I could get adjusted to these. If possible please re-make them without the pickle flavor and I would be in love!!!

Great snack with a slightly strange flavor

Decent substitute for Chick-fil-A nuggets, but they do have a bit of a strange taste to them. Other reviewers mention that these nuggets have a dill flavor to them, which I can agree. It's a subtle flavor that leaves a strange aftertaste, but they're still tasty. Definitely not as good as Chick-fil-A, but they're a good at-home substitute. Some of the larger pieces have a lot of fat on them, and the smaller bits are mostly flour. They aren't quite as meaty as the Chick-fil-A nuggets, but I would definitely still recommend grabbing a bag of these next time you're at Sam's Club!

Pickles

I dismissed my friend when she said these tasted like pickles. I thought oh maybe they're made with buttermilk which can taste sometimes like vinegar. I was wrong. They taste like actual pickles. I eat mine with honey, which wasn't so bad, but if you eat them alone or with ketchup all you'll taste is pickles. Otherwise very good texture & juiciness (cooked in regular oven)... everything is amazing except the pickle flavor.

Ri Ni Chan, thank you for taking the time to comment and leave an online review. This product does contain a hint of dill which some find to mimic that pickle flavoring. Yuck

These aren’t good at all. I thought I’d give them a try since I do like the Purdue nuggets and Sam’s didn’t have those. They have a weird taste and after taste. I’m not sure I can make myself eat them again, much less finish a 3 lb bag. I don’t texommend them and certainly won’t be buying them again.

Very similar to what you’re hoping for!

If you’re looking for a cheaper and easy at-home version of the Lord’s nuggets, you’ve found it. These aren’t exactly the same, they’ve got more of a pickle flavor, but they’re really good! They only take about 15-20 minutes and they come out crispy! Definitely recommend!
