I dismissed my friend when she said these tasted like pickles. I thought oh maybe they're made with buttermilk which can taste sometimes like vinegar. I was wrong. They taste like actual pickles. I eat mine with honey, which wasn't so bad, but if you eat them alone or with ketchup all you'll taste is pickles. Otherwise very good texture & juiciness (cooked in regular oven)... everything is amazing except the pickle flavor.

I like the pickle taste and the texture of the meat, not dry like some others. I did it in air fryer at 350° for 5 and turned and did another 5, same temp. We very rarely eat these kind of chicken bites but needed a little something tonight for dinner that was quick and easy.

These used to be great!! Now they taste weird and leave an awful aftertaste. The two bags I tried over the past few months were so bad that I needed to figure out other odd foods to mix it with, just so they are tolerable! Never going to purchase again after the past two fails. No thanks!!

These aren’t advertised “taste like Chick Fil A” so all the 1 star reviews are a little dramatic. Of course they don’t taste like Chick Fil A- They are #1 in chicken category! These are a cheaper frozen make it yourself option that is VERY good! It does have a pickle flavor to it. But with your favorite dip it will mask that. These are a staple in our house. Easy and quick to make and very good! Keep these on the shelves!

Got these today after seeing in store. Noticed that it said Southern Style and had a dill flavor to them. Grabbed a bag and my girl enjoyed them very much! I did NOT get this weird chemical taste but I did get the slight dill pickle flavor as described.

Ok, this one is a winner! After a quick air fry, my teens could not really tell the difference between these scrumptious lil nuggs and the fast food real deal. And let’s face it, these babies don’t break the bank when you’re feeding starving teens after sports practice!

I laugh my tail off when i read certain reviews. Some people are so animated. Yes they have a slight dill flavor to them. You don't like it great don't buy it again. It does have a similarity to Chick fila. Not sure what a chemical taste really taste like but evidently a reviewer on here knows. This is why you have to try things yourself.

These used to be good. I don't know what happened but around a year or so ago I bought these and they had an awful chemical taste to them. I returned them then. I bought these again two weeks ago hoping they would be better. They still have the chemical taste. Hopefully they will accept these for return again and pull them from the shelves. I am obviously not the only who think they have this taste.

So...these nuggets are weird. They definitely smell of pickle juice, which is really odd. They smell stronger than they smell, but it’s still unlike any nugget I’ve ever eaten. Also, for those that say these are just like Chick Fil-A, I feel like they haven’t eaten at that restaurant in a long time. No one in our family thought they tasted even similar and everyone thought the pickle smell was unfortunate. With that said, the chicken appeared to be good quality and they would do in a pinch...just don’t expect to fool ANYONE with these nuggets.

Do these taste like chick fil a? No But are they still great? Yes! These are probably the closest store bought "popcorn chicken" that you're going to find to tasting like chick fil a. But I have to say, it's not a total replacement. I was excited when I saw these online, but after reading a lot of negative reviews I almost didn't get them. They do have a very mild pickle after taste (not unpleasant to me) And if you are dipping them in some kind of sauce it's not noticeable at all. If your family/kids/adults enjoys food like this- I'm sure they'll love these Chicken Bites. For the price it's an excellent deal compared to a traditional grocery store.
