SO GOOD!!

This is THE BEST Chick-fil-A copycat ever! I love love love the dill flavor! There’s no Chick-fil-A near where I live, so I’m glad to have this chicken in the freezer whenever I’m craving CFA. Costco‘s Just Bare brand does not compare at all. This is the real deal! If you don’t like Chick-fil-A chicken, don’t buy this so the rest of us can have more of it.

Not the old Souther Style Bites

These bites are not the same as the "old" Southern Style Bites. The Simmons Signature bites were fantastic, these are mediocre at best. They have a very strong dill taste. I thought the other reviews exaggerated, they do not. Even drenched in ranch dressing or buffalo sauce it's still noticeable. The quality of the chicken is not as good as the Simmons Signature bites either found a fair amount of tendons and fat. If you want the nuggets that really give Chick-Fil-A a run for their money, ask Sam's to bring back the Simmons Signature bites. 10x better. I dunno why Sam's had to go ruin a good thing and make a bad knockoff, but they did.

Awful taste

These used to be good. I don't know what happened but around a year or so ago I bought these and they had an awful chemical taste to them. I returned them then. I bought these again two weeks ago hoping they would be better. They still have the chemical taste. Hopefully they will accept these for return again and pull them from the shelves. I am obviously not the only who think they have this taste.

Fairly Strong Pickle Aftertaste

These chicken bites have a relatively good, chewy texture when prepared in the oven as instructed. But the flavor of the chicken is overpowered by a "pickly" taste that is really distracting. Different from being served with a pickle, these chicken bites almost taste like they were marinated in pickle juice at one point in time. Many members seem to like this item - just be aware that there is a pickle taste that is very hard to miss.

Strange flavor. Not even close to Chickfila.

First, anyone claiming these taste like Chickfila needs to have their tongue examined. There's not even a hint of Chickfila in these. Second, everyone's taste is different, but to me these have a strange flavor. I flat out didn't like them. Lastly, I cooked these in a deep fryer and the breading didn't like it. They turned dark very quick.

Pickle Chicken

If you want chicken that tastes like dill, this is the product for you. My husband does not like pickles and thought something was bad or soured when i served dinner. My kid loves pickles and refers to these as pickle chicken. While I don’t hate the flavor, it’s very off-putting and I won’t be buying again.

If you like dill pickles!

Bought these a few weeks ago. Have heated them three times in the air fryer so far. I will eat them all over time but the pickle flavor in the batter kind of seems weird. Won't purchase again. They call these Sourhern style? This isn't the chicken my grandma use to fry.

gross

I threw out half a bag because we just couldn’t eat them anymore. Something was off about the taste and smell no matter how you cook them. Most of the chicken was decent if you took the breading off but 25% was fat or cartilage or mystery goo. Just gross.

Not like the famous chicken chain

So many people swear that these are basically copies of the nuggets from a certain chicken chain that’s closed on Sundays. I would have to disagree immensely. The texture is pretty close but the taste is very different. There is a big presence of dill/pickle flavoring in these, which is a huge turnoff for me since I’m not a huge pickle fan. I had to drown these in bbq sauce to make them palatable for me.

Not that great anymore.

Unfortunately because of how popular these became they definitely starting slacking on quality. Most of the nuggets get thrown out because of fat or nerves. When you do get a good nugget it is definitely good and pretty close to CFA but at the rate or quality VS quantity, these are no longer worth the buy.
