I got this box to replace a cheaper box I had for my first child. We still use those cheaper boxes for the beach, etc, but turns having a lunchbox your kindergartener can open/close themselves is pretty important 😂🤷 Worked well, and we eventually passed it along to kid 2 when they entered daycare and got kid 1 a bentgo chill, which holds more/larger food Great box for your daycare-aged kiddo. Due to smaller compartments, I would recommend bentgo chill/similarly roomier box for grade school kids. I took rach dishwasher the inner tray, it's held up great. The silicone lids of both my bentgo boxes developed mildew that stained the gaskets. This isn't covered under warranty, but customer service is sending me new boxes anyway, and passed along the following tips for prevention: - Wash with White distilled Vinegar regularly - Cling wrap or other plastic over the lid interior - Completely drying after each cleaning I suspect the drying rack situation in my new house (rack sitting in sink instead of on counter) may have caused this issue, so I'll be taking care to wipe the kids dry or leave them sitting out separately to assure more rapid drying

Compartment is good size enough for my first grader. They also have a great customer service. It is not only the product itself that makes me loyal to a brand but also how they handle my questions and immediate response with it. This brand care and I felt it.

I bought three boxes for my daughters. They love them! They do not leak. They keep food fresh. They are easy to open. One of them had an issue with the seal after heavy use for a few months, and customer service was phenomenal. I sent a photo of the boxes seal, a photo of the receipt, and the model of the box, and they sent a replacement within 12 hours of my email. My 6 year old son uses this lunch box for school everyday and loves it! Unlike other brands, we have never had any issues with leaking. We especially love the removable insert/divider in this style so we can pack a variety of foods. When we accidentally lost the insert, we received wonderful customer service in helping us find a replacement. Would definitely purchase again!

Great for having her pack her own as each section was a healthy option with the smallest for the ‘sweet treat’. Unfortunately, one of the clips broke but under warranty. I use this bento box to pack lunch for my five year old. The compartments are appropriately sized for my child’s portions. The seal works well - foods in various compartments remain separated and absolutely zero leaking. The latches are easy for my child to manage. I have three of them. Very satisfied with these Bentgo boxes and will not hesitate to buy more if the need arises.

My daughter loved her Bengto until this morning when she discovered mold on the upper lid. I tried everything to get the mold off and was unsuccessful....tea tree oil, vinegar soak, microban. You name it. Unfortunately, after the attempts to get the mold off and the aggressive scrubbing, we won't be able to use it anymore.
