Bought these a year ago for my 2001 F-250 Super Duty 4X4 lifted 4 inches, to replace my all terrain. I was skeptical and currious about these new threads... What a difference on the road ! These tires stabilized my truck , no more swerving from the old all terrain, no more rumble , no more road noise and comfortable ride. I have been looking for a tire that has style, and Michelin nailed it with this one !! Love these Defender Platinum. Simply put the best tires I have ever owned. I drive more than 120,000 miles a year, more than half of those miles are towing trailers from 5k to 12k. I am on the road all the time and do not rotate my tires. I bought the set of Defender Platinums for my F-350 SRW in March of last year. 140,000 miles later the fronts still have 10/32 of tread while the rears have 4/32. I have never gotten even half the miles as this set of tires has given me. I went from getting new tires at least twice, but usually 3 times a year previously, to now sitting at 14 months on these. Highly recommend these tires.

I bought this tire to replace the Scorpions that came on my Rivian R1S. The Scorpions were off-road tires and, before buying the Michelins, I had no idea just how much the tires were contributing to my lack of enjoyment of the Rivian. It seemed loud, harsh, noisy and generally uncomfortable. The Defender LTX’s have made a night and day difference. They look good, they are smooth, and they make the ride unbelievably less harsh. I LOVE them thus far!!

I have had these ties since the end of 2023 on my Ford F-350. On dry roads, they are great. Anything other than that, they are dangerous. They slip on gravel, on rainy roads, snow and even dry maple leaves on dry asphalt. I am 66 years old and go pretty easy on the accelerator. There is a huge difference between these and the Michelins that came with the truck when it was new.

She couldn’t believe the difference especially when driving in the rain. She said she it felt smoother and safer. The only problem is now she wants to drive the truck instead of her car . Great tires!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came just in time for the snow here. Had no issues overall. It's been over a month since we put them on. Great tread, have used on multiple terrains and no issues. Didn't like having to peel off all the stickers though.

The roads in my neighborhood are so bumpy, and with these tires on my truck, it's so smooth now. Driving on the highway, these are the quietest tires I've ever had. I have also driven in the rain a few times, and they've done amazing.

These tires are phenomenal. I recently returned from a 3500 mile road trip and the tires were the smoothest, quietest tires I have ever owned. I live in a heavy snow area so I was a bit skeptical of how they would react in the snow but I was pleasantly surprised. I have plowed my driveway with them several times since I returned with no issues. As far as snow goes at this point I would give them a 4/5 only because I haven’t used them enough to really give them a good test. I took off my winter tires and replaced them with these for our road trip but I will likely still run snows since I’m out no matter the weather. I have a 3500 diesel pickup and with these tires I can actually hear the motor regardless of my speed. The only thing I can complain about the tires is that they are so smooth and quiet that I found my speed in the mid 90s if I wasn’t using cruise control. Overall the best HD truck tire I have ever owned.
