Bought these to replace the factory tires for my 2022 RAM 3500. Excellent performance on dry and wet pavement and in torrential downpours. Very quiet, very smooth, great while towing or hauling heavy or unloaded. I'm thrilled with them and highly recommend them for anyone with an HD truck used to tow.

Hot one day, pouring the next, and freezing temperatures with sleet on the roads the day after. I’ve been able to drive under a variety of road conditions and felt so confident in these Michelin tires. It gives such a smooth ride and you feel in complete control of your vehicle no matter what conditions you’re driving in. The turns are sharp, the stops are quick and exact, and the drive is smooth. The quality is amazing and I just know the longevity is there. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

I would like to preface the review to a comparison of the former defenders I’ve used over the last 20 years. I personally believe Michelin failed with this tire. The economy, ride noise, ride and traction are lacking horribly compared to its predecessor, the MS2. I purchased these tires and had 2 of them go bad at 36,000 miles. They replaced all four and now I may be having the same issue with another tire. If the only advantage is a 70000 mile warranty, it was not worth it and I hope they bring the real defenders back.

Bought these a year ago for my 2001 F-250 Super Duty 4X4 lifted 4 inches, to replace my all terrain. I was skeptical and currious about these new threads... What a difference on the road ! These tires stabilized my truck , no more swerving from the old all terrain, no more rumble , no more road noise and comfortable ride. I have been looking for a tire that has style, and Michelin nailed it with this one !! Love these Defender Platinum. Bought these tires last month for my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD that has a 3" front 2" rear lift. I explored all types and brands of tires, but based on past experience, I have never been disappointed with Michelin tires. Went with the 275/65/20's to replace my factory GY 265/60/20's. Tires fit great, no rubbing. Michelin's track straight and way better ride! 3,000 mile round trip, towing a cargo trailer from Utah to Tennessee. Highway, speeds, hot weather, and a few rain and thunderstorms, no issues. Ride home, minus the trailer, about 1- 1.5 mpg better than the GY's, even with the larger tire size. We'll see how they do in the fall on dirt/fire roads, and this winter.

Quiet, smooth and handle great. But, they do love to grab a lot of rocks, and don't like to let them go easy. If you drive a lot of gravel road, might be an issue. I visit construction sites a lot, which are usually graveled. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. I drive around all day for business. F250 4DR 6.7L. Have not pulled my trailer yet. These were not my first choice. But, I am very glad I got them. Read a lot of reviews, tire dealer websites and group discussions. These were too new to be on people's radar. Good thing the popular tires were in a supply shortage!
