Great time of year for cantaloupe. We pick one up from SAMs in our weekly haul.

Average cantaloupe, nothing real special about it

Juicy, fresh taste. Ripe in a couple days. Delicious.

Not so good. Soft once cut open. Flavor not good.

This melon was small and shriveled looking on the outside but it actually tasted okay.

Very sweet and good even late in the season

Eatable but not even ripe, even after letting one set for a week. But at least no bad after taste.

Cantaloupe was bland & rather tasteless. I threw it away.

Too fresh, got moldy before it got ripe. Picked when it was too green.
