don't wait for the cantaloupe to ripen with "touch the top test" because by that time, the cantaloupe will have gone bad....

I purchased several of these. They had a good flavor but it was a little early in the season for them in my opinion. They were too "crispy" for me.

It was hard and it seems like it never got ripe, although it was starting to go bad in spots already

Unfortunately, this was purchased in a pickup order so I didn't choose the fruit. Honestly, I would have left it at the store otherwise.

Sat it out for three days to soften/ripen. Bruises started appearing so some of it was cut off and discarded.

One was very good, but when I cut into the other one the next day it was rotten and my finger went through the outside. Had to throw away.

Love the quality of the product with great flavor. Love the convenience for my childcare business. I make 5 meals a week.

The cantaloupe was not much larger than a big grapefruit. It was hard and tasted horrible. It was inedible so I threw it away.

Loved this cantaloupe . Had it a few days after our purchase and it turned out still at its best. Firm , juicy, and sweet.

ordered 2 and both were rotten the next day, soft spots when they were given to me. I should have checked them out before leaving the parking lot.
