don't wait for the cantaloupe to ripen with "touch the top test" because by that time, the cantaloupe will have gone bad....

It looked great but upon further inspection - I found a soft spot on one end that affected the flavor and sustainability

I’ve bought many cantaloupe at Sam’s this summer. I should have returned this. Threw it away. No taste and horrible texture

The melon had no hope of getting ripe. It was mostly green on the inside and the orange part had a very bland taste. This melon was picked green

The cantaloupe was not much larger than a big grapefruit. It was hard and tasted horrible. It was inedible so I threw it away.

Love the quality of the product with great flavor. Love the convenience for my childcare business. I make 5 meals a week.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I buy groceries online & pick up in store. Have bought cantaloupe several times. Fragrant & sweet every time.

The cantaloupes were perfect. Almost ripe when I bought them and the flavor was amazing. I didn’t see any when I went again - hope they wil still be carried

The cantaloupe I bought today at Sam's in Killeen TX was hard and not sweet at all. Contrary to popular belief, these melons DO NOT ripen once removed from the vine. Threw the whole thing away. Will ask for my money back when I return to Sam's.

Well, when I placed the order for cantaloupe for pick up along with the other items I didn't think I would get a watermelon size, but at least medium to large. What I got is nowhere near large or am I wrong? Wouldn't let me upload a photo of my "Large cantaloupe"
