Was surprised to discover the lids seal inside the rim of the bowls, this is a great feature for storage. Thectwo larges ones can even work as serving trays. The bottoms are definitely nonskid! Love this set!

Rust can be seen underneath the lid and the lids don't seal well. They discolor after the first few washes and a pain to separate when all stacked together.

First, stainless steel should not scratch so very easily! Viking pamphlet says not to use any metal utensils??? I use "mixing" bowls with a hand mixer! Secondly, the lids are too loose to create any type of seal. Boo. Viking should be TOUGH!

Came looking used, like they were washed and returned. I tried contacting customer service but none of the numbers worked. I ended up just keeping them and washing them well because I needed them.

The lids feel like they will crack very soon, they also do not fit tight on the bowls. I really wasnt needing lids for what I plan to use them. So I guess it would be ok. Not worth the time and effort to return.

I bought 2 sets. Once I put then in the refrigerator the lids got loose and made a mess when it was knocked over. I tested 2 othe sizes, empty, same thing happened, the lids lost the seal. I had to return them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the nested design and the lip on these bowls. They're easy to store and lightweight. I wasn't sure if I needed silicone bottoms, but I've been so pleased with that feature. The silicone has remained firmly fixed to the bowls even after multiple runs through the dishwasher. The lids have been great for marinating and transporting. I wish they were made out of a non-plastic material that was a bit more durable (e.g. a clip-on metal lid with silicone ring). I'm sure they'll still last for years.

They feel sturdy and well-made, perfect for everything from baking to meal prep. I love the rubber bottoms to keep the bowls in place and that they have lids. They make it super convenient to shake and store large, family-sized salads without any mess. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

The bowls are bowls. The tops warp if you put them in the dishwasher. The size on the bowl is not the actual fill size, its smaller than what's listed; for example, the 5 Quart is really 4 Quarts. They do stay in place due to the silicone on the bottom. I wish you could get the strainer/colander so you don't have to purchase the other set that has it.

These bowls r great. They each have a lid and they wont move bcause they have a non slip bottom
