My 16 month old recently needed to move up to overnight diapers due to frequent leaks and bed wetting. I'm a loyal pampers fan since they fit my daughter better. I tried their version of overnight diapers and she leaked through them every night. I read good reviews online for the huggies. I decided to buy them. I love the absorbency, but it gave my daughter a horrible diaper rash. It's all over her little bum on the sides even and pretty much everywhere else the diaper touched. She does not and never has had sensitive skin. We have used huggies in the past and never had any issues. Not sure why these broke her out. I'm disappointed because these were the first diapers that didn't leak. However, the nasty rash is not worth it.

For the past 6 months (-/+), Huggies Overnites have been a hit or miss in regards to quality. Unfortunately, Huggies packs are primarily all there is in our area. It’s hard to find a brand outside of Huggies, like Pampers. Anyways, when the diapers are good, everything is fine. HOWEVER, when the diapers/product bag is bad, well, it’s down right awful. I’d say we’ve had about 4 packs in a 6 month span that even before we put them on our daughter, they break open. The absorbency beads go everywhere! So we have to throw the diaper away, along with our money. Also, if the diaper does manage to not instantly open from the air lightly blowing on it, they bust open after one urination. Literally. Just one. And there have been times that they have given my daughter a chemical burn. It’s worse than any rash or infection that I’ve ever seen. These rashes are not allergic reactions, I can assure you. They are without a doubt chemical burns. A few months back, we took a long hiatus from Huggies in general. We never really used the wipes, as they always feel like there are shards of plastic or something hard in them. So really, it was a break from all diaper products. Recently, a lot of the stores around our area started mainly stocking huggies only. So, we thought we’d try again. Same experience. It’s absolutely ridiculous. They should be ashamed. I was assured multiple times that the absorbency beads were harmless, even if my daughter were to digest them. Really?! I am to believe that a product that causes chemical burns (there are more of us out there, google it) is safe for my child to digest? You’re kidding me! And her digesting them, while a concern, is not the biggest problem at hand. It’s the chemical burns that have us ending up in Urgent Care! Address that issue; don’t try to change the subject and steer away from a topic you refuse to deal with. I’ve also been told “they are independently tested” and all that rambling about the safety of them. Umm, please do not insult the intelligence of people you do not know. Why? Because I’m not dumb enough to believe that this “independent company” is not one that you’ve managed to keep in your pocket or that has not been reimbursed in some way for their “independent” findings supporting your brand. Come on! People know better! As for your rewards program, what a joke! You need to talk to pampers. That is a true rewards program. They don’t need as extensive information, as you do. Huggies rewards needs everything outside of your DNA, which I’m sure will need to be added to establish profiles in the near future. Pampers also doesn’t disregard receipts that clearly say the diaper brand and product, simply because a code was not provided on the receipt in correlation with the pack bought. They realize that baby stuff is expensive, sometimes gifted, and they aren’t out anything at all by accepting every item received from anywhere. What a joke Huggies is! You make and have so much money, that you aren’t hurting by giving parents/caretakers reward points for absolutely everything they purchase from absolutely anywhere. You should try to be more charitable; it’d do your cold hearts some good. You are one of, if not the most, greediest company ever! Sadly, you deal with babies, too. It’s unfortunate and disgusting all that you do and represent. I’ve written Kimberly Clark about the issue before, to which I received a lame series of excuses, as well as, a small amounted gift card. Mind you, I wasn’t looking for money; I also wasn’t expecting any sort of “gifting” for the problem at hand. So while I think more should have been done, I can say that I was at least somewhat surprised that anything was even done to try and “make me a happy customer” again. To that, I say “nice try huggies. I guess it’s supposed to be the thought that counts, right?” Unfortunately, it’s done nothing to satisfy the concern that your product is harming children. In conclusion, you’re welcome for the insight into your poor quality brand that you charge a huge sum for...

My daughter is a great sleeper and usually sleeps 12-13 hours at night without ever getting up. This was great in every way except one, her diaper could never hold up. She was always wet or soaking wet by the time I would check on her for the last time before morning. From her stomach to her toes, soaking wet! But when I tried huggies overnight I was shocked and amazed how well they stood up to her 13 hours of sleep. They were smack full but they did not leak! It felt like the diaper weighed a few pounds but she was dry. AWESOME DIAPER!

I love huggies diapers but these leak. A lot. My daughter has never woke up with pee or poop on her until 3 days ago when I bought these. The last 3 night's she's leaked out and once during the day. I change her diaper every 2-3 hours. Or whenever wet or dirty so it's not an issue of being left on too long. Poorly designed diaper

What a bummer we have been avid huggies only customers especially for your overnights. Unfortunately the redesign of the overnight diapers have made them thinner and since I bought the new package we’ve experienced soaked through every night! Why change a great thing?!! The Mickey Mouse was where its at, I would pay more for the old version!

I cannot stress the value of the diapers enough. They were the greatest discovery we ever made when our daughter was waking up every night because of her diaper leaking. When we had our son, they were at the top of our list of baby supplies to buy once he started sleeping for longer stretches at night. I recommend them to every parent or soon-to-be parent I know. I do recommend buying one size larger than you'd normally buy in diapers. It's not that they run small, but they still fit well in the next size up and can hold even more. As long as we buy one size up, we have NO leakage issues at night. Once in a while, we'll have a little bit of leakage if we buy the same size in these as regular diapers. We've noticed this to be especially true with our son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product! Other overnight diapers leak, due to not being good quality or due to my son moving around in his sleep. These things stay put after dozens of tosses and turns and we had zero leaks! We will definitely be purchasing these again :-)

Huggies night time diapers are the best. We have tried another brand(because it was on sale), but my daughter did not stay nearly as dry as she did with the Huggies brand. The night time diapers have a lot of extra absorbency, but are still lightweight. It is so nice not to have to change her sheets every morning when she wakes up!
