It supports my Heart and gives me energy that I needed! After I started this particular one, I could tell the difference in the way I would feel after taking it.

I can't say that I have noticed any miraculous improvements in my health by taking it, but I do know that CoQ10 is necessary for energy production within the cells and is in the greatest concentration in the heart muscle. So maybe if I wasn't taking it, I wouldn't have as much energy at the age of 70 to ride a spin cycle, or do heavy weight training or any of the other physical activities that I do. No one really knows, unless you are being closely monitored by a team of scientific researchers. I do know what many doctors either don't know, or won't tell a patient, is that if you are taking Statin drugs, that you must be taking CoQ10 to avoid muscle aches and pains. I don't take Statins, nor would I ever take them. So as with all of the many supplements that I take daily, I take this as a preventative measure to help to avoid disease and to give me any added health benefits whether they be real or perceived.

We also exercise 3-4 times a week since the heart is a muscle. We have a long line of heart disease that my husband and I want to stop at us.
