Over the years, both statins controlled my cholesterol but I developed frequent very painful muscle spasms. I am now taking Zetia with fewer spasms. I'm hoping this product will lesson this even more. I will re-review in a month or so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been on statin drugs for over 11 years now (that's when I had my heart attack at age 54) and have read reviews and articles on what statin drugs can do to you including depleting your natural CoQ10. I started taking CoQ10 supplements, trying various brands, until I read about Qunol and how it is water soluble. I decided to try it and have been taking it ever since. I actually doubled the dose due to being on statins (200 mg/day). I know it works because I ran out, forgetting to replenish my supply, and went a number of days without. Boy, did I feel a difference in my energy level. As soon as I started taking Qunol again, I started to feel a little better and got my energy back.
