[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started taking Ultra CoQ10 when I began taking red yeast rice. Within a week I noticed an increase in energy. I take it once a day but I'm considering taking it twice a day to coincide with my red yeast rice regimen. It is a great product.

I have been prescribed statins to control my cholesterol for several years. My sister told me that I needed to take COQ10 because of the potential harm that statins can have on the heart. That was several years before my doctors started recommending it. I read all of the claims made by the company of high absorption, fat and water solubility, reviews of other people and compared against other brands and concluded that Qunol is a superior brand next to most other brands. I started taking it every day about a year ago and testing has shown that my cholesterol is well managed with the COQ10 in addition to the statin I am taking and diet. Now I can't be without this product. I have reordered from this site and others who carry it and will continue to do so.

My cramps would be so bad I would cry, even after I quit taking statins. My cousin suggested I use Co Q 10. I tried other brands with no results, the I use Qunol and OMG I never have cramps anymore. First, it doesn't have a tobacco-based origin, like some other CoQ10 products from other competitor-producers. Second, it is more effective because it has both vitamin E and Ubiquinone (USP Grade). It only could be more effective if the CoQ10 were in the form of Ubiquinol, to eliminate a phase to metabolize from Ubiquinone to Ubiquinol. The 100 mg dosage claims a 3X better absorption rate because it dissolves in water and is fat-soluble compared to regular CoQ10 which does not dissolve in water.
