However, I seem to have good results, including more energy & better stamina when doing cardio exercise, with no big heart rate fluctuations that I seemed to have in the past. I am 62 and still running 5Ks, 10Ks & Mountain biking, so I am concerned with staying heart-healthy!

I have for several years now because I am on a statin drug as well to help keep my Cholesterol at a very good level. I have read that if you are on a statin drug then you should take a coq10 supplement to help keep the coq10 levels up as your heart needs this to be at normal levels. I have taken the Qunol Ultra CoQ10 supplement for at least 5 years and I believe this is a very good product that is very advantageous for good heart health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have AFib, which is when the heart beats in an irregular way. I take a beta-blocker to control the rhythm. Beta blockers can impede the biological pathway of coenzyme Q10. CoQ10 is involved in making adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is involved in energy transfer within cells. Without CoQ10 your body has trouble making ATP. If your body were to stop making ATP altogether (and I'm not sure what would have to happen to cause that.) you would quickly die. I just know I feel better taking Qunol since it absorbs 3 times better, and I will always take it because I am not comfortable knowing my beta-blocker interferes with such a vital process.

I have no way of knowing if this product is truly good, but I think it has a good chance of being one. Based on what? I have no idea. But I'd like to see the customer who has more palpable proof than I. I've purchased it in the past and continue to buy it because it had good reviews and it's supposed to have better absorption than others. It is well packaged, and I've had no problems with it. Capsules have a slightly sweet tinge. That's about it. It has a good quality-looking label and if they say it's good I believe them, because that's my character trait. Honest.
