It took a long time to figure it out due to I'm only 49 and they couldn't find anything wrong with my heart. I also take a low dose statin. My daughter had read somewhere that statins can build plaque up in your arteries and it was recommended to take coq10 if you took statins. I asked my doctor and she agreed it was worth it. I still get the chest pain once in awhile, but down probably 90% from what it was. The only downfall I've seen is I believe it thins the blood. If I get cut now, I bleed more.
