After I found out a little about the depletion of this enzyme after age 40 I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the lowering of my cholesterol. After that, I noticed how much better I felt all around. I am 71 years old and I work out at "Just Move" three days a week at least doing cardio and weight training for an hour and a half each visit. My doctor has told me to keep doing whatever it is that I am doing because my bloodwork is very good for my age and it also keeps my blood pressure in the normal range which wasn't possible before. Price is good and actually cheaper than store generic brands. After stent surgery I take several medications and supplementing with Qunol is just what I needed. So I've been taking CoQ10 for about 2 yrs.. just for the health of it. I feel SAFE with this product being shellfish and shellfish by product free. I am super allergic to shrimp. I do not like fishy taste and fear taking anything with fish oil because of my shellfish allergy. I can not risk any contaminants. So this is why I chose this product.
