Very impressed for an OEM tire

I thought I was going to hate these, but I don't. They came on my Z71 as OEM tires. Usually OEM tires downright stink. I don't really see how these are considered "All Terrain" tires, but they do have open tread blocks and full depth sipes, so I guess they would do OK off road. These are so quiet and so comfortable driving on the road. The traction is also great wet or dry. Being in Dallas, we haven't had a chance to test them in winter weather, but I would think they would be OK in light snow.

Economical replacement tire

I had nearly 90,000 miles on a first set of tires on a Ford Expedition and bought these as replacements. We tow a 6,000 pound boat and trailer package so needed the wet traction at the ramp. These tires do well in rain and snow, are reasonably quiet and ride comfortably at 35 PSI. Overall good value. The team at Colonial Tire in Mundelein, IL is terrific.

Good Summer Tire, Horrible Winter Tire

This tire came on my new 2015 Chevy Colorado pickup truck. The tire is just fine in the spring, summer and fall, but horrible in cold winter driving conditions. When the temps are above 40F, this tire rides very smooth and quite, it gives decent gas milage, feels sure footed on dry roads and very acceptable grip on wet roads. On wet roads, the tires will break lose and spin fairly easily when taking off from a dead stop, but they are fine when moving at highway speeds. The big downside to these tires is when the temperature drops well below freezing. The rubber compound becomes way too hard and winter traction plummets especially on hard packed snow or ice. With 4WD, you can still accelerate just fine, but stopping and steering is severely compromised. My truck would literally slide to the side on a crowned roadway. Very scary. I have just purchased some winter rated tires to replace these. I kept them and will run them again during the warmer months.

8/32nd left to go @25k

OE tire on my F150. Put 25k miles on it all over the western US in the last 6 months. Great road warrior tire. Can't believe how nice they ride and how long they are lasting.. This is not a tire for below freezing or snow/ice. Once the temp drops or the white stuff starts falling, invest in a set of Duratracs like I just did! Keep up the good work, Goodyear.

We'll see.

While I consider the tires to be excellent in the five ratings categories above, I feel it is a shortcoming of the survey to exclude wear. There may be a really good reason for this that I am not aware of, but we'll see what my overall opinion is of these tires after time. This purchase is a like-for-like replacement for the OEM tires which I felt needed to be replaced at 36,000miles. I have come to learn that this is likely due to Chevrolet shaving the tires for mileage purposes. Could be wrong on that.

Good all around truck tire

This is a good all round truck tire. The side wall pattern fits the use (truck like), but it doesn't make the noise that all terrain tires are known for. I live on a dirt road and the tires pick up a little gravel that gets spun off around 35 MPH, otherwise it's an excellent tire. I haven't driven it in snow yet, so I didn't rate winter traction.

3 of 4 tires on brand new 2018 F150 are being replaced from

Very concerned that these tires are worthy of being on my brand new 2018 F150 4x4 due to immediate problem right from the start. Would rather have a true AT tire than these HT tires. Still do not have my vehicle back from dealer. Did request/demand that FORD get me a different Wrangler model. Have always enjoyed a quality Goodyear Wrangler AT.

Great Tires

These tires came on my '15 XLT SuperCrew 4x4. I still have them on right now, just over 58k miles, no flats or repairs, actually has a nail in the tire and not loosing air, tread is holding up well, no noises. I do a lot of highway driving, some gravel. Good ride, good gas mileage and no problems handling my load. I usually have a full bed of HVAC tools and supplies with ladder rack and still gives me an average of 20-21 mpg on the highway and 17-18 mpg in the city. Debating if I should get another set or go with the Goodyear all-terrain adventures. Never took them in deep mud, but for the few times I did get in some mud while hunting, they handled ok, in 4x4.

Nice original equipment tire

These came stock on my new truck. Most often I can't wait to replace the O.E. Tires but these really do the job. They ride and handle well and get decent traction in most conditions all while helping the truck achieve good fuel economy. With almost 5000 miles on them, there is little sign of wear. If you want to drive off road or live in areas of frequent deep snow these may not be the tire for you. But 95% of my driving is under good conditions. This tire suits those needs very well.

I am satisfied with my tires and would buy same tires again.

I bought these tires more for smooth ride and gas mileage than anything else. I wanted something with good traction on wet roads but I rarely if ever would drive in snow or ice. I don't do any off road driving. The Wrangler Fortitude HT was a good fit for me.
