[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I can’t give a completely fair review of Select Surfaces Flooring. I was able to choose the color I would be receiving, but I didn’t realize that it would be a molding kit. I thought I would be receiving flooring pieces/samples, which I could have used, but there’s not much I can do with a molding kit without flooring pieces/planks, so I’ll do my best to give my opinion on these moldings. Select Surfaces Heritage Oak Molding Kit is a collection of the pieces of flooring that one would use to put wherever there’s a stop or break in the floor to add a finishing touch and protect and cover the edges of the floor. For example, where flooring comes to a stop at a door, a molding piece would be placed to finish it off. It looks like it would be simple to self-install, with easy to understand instructions on the back of the package. The very first thing I noticed about these pieces was the color. It looked lighter and more natural in the photos online. I’m looking for new flooring for my bedroom and bathroom, and that’s why I was so excited to receive this Voxbox. In person, though, it appeared to be a much different color, with different shading and texture than the online photo had. The laminate that I received looked like basic oak wood laminate from the 90s, to be honest. It didn’t appear to mimic real wood, at all, but looked very much like laminate. I took photos of it against the laminate that I have in my living room, and I feel like I can easily see the difference in the quality of the texture. I have a small half bath that also needs new flooring, so I may try and find the planks that match this Select Surfaces molding kit and see what I think. I do know that molding kit pieces are not always a great representation of the flooring pieces as a whole; they tend to look of much lower quality than the actual floor planks. This is the reason that I only took one star off. Even though I think it looks “cheap”, the actual flooring planks might look much better. I may end up purchasing the flooring that goes with the molding, but I don’t know if I can get over the color.

Select Surfaces' Elite Collection is a fantastic choice to the flooring project. It contains 2 T-Moldings, 1 Endcap, and 1 Reducer, and provides comprehensive solutions for a polished finish. Each piece's 3 ft 8 in length and is convenient for various spaces. It looks durability also, with its 14 mm thickness. The design is made in that way to match seamlessly, creating a cohesive and attractive look. This molding kit has truly everything for the functionality of the flooring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay - so I would never order this myself, but it came so here goes. I despise this stuff. It’s fake wood and screams fake and plastic. You know it’s fake plastic cheap stuff from 200 feet away, you catch even a glimpse of it and you’ll feel insulted and ashamed. I’d pass and never talk about it again.

Realized new mounting system needed to be used…..a molded “u” plastic seemed better to work with versus the older metal u channel! In addition the molding male underside was strengthen allowing much easier interface and adjustment to fit length! Very happy with end result!!

It is everything you need for floor moldings. I love the idea of being able to purchase a kit to bring home and make sure it matches. Otherwise you could end up wasting time going back and forth from home to the store before you get the right one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Heritage Oak Molding Kit is so handy! We had one doorway in our house that needed a transition piece between rooms. This was exactly what we needed. It was easy to install and feels sturdy. I like that it has other options for different transitions in the kit as well. I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great color, modern look. It's laminate on the front and sides wrapped to MDF. Similar to other moldings from box stores it cuts easily and installation with the included parts (other than nails). Definitely need multiple kits for the perimeter of the room since it covers only a small part.

Installation is easy peasy, and the outcome looks like you've spent thousands of dollars in renovations. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood to spruce up your house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The molding kit is a natural heritage oak. It has a spill defense lip. The color is real but it it has a smooth finish. It does not have an orange color like some laminate flooring.
