Great generator

I have a generator that has 26 hours on it and I have had nothing but problems with it, so i decided to buy a new one and read all the reviews and watched all the videos on youtube and found that westinghouse was the top of the line to get, so I got a wgen9500c and I could not be happier with this great generator! I can run my whole house on this generator and it doesn't break a sweat. Best purchase I made this year.

Very well built and extremely easy to move around!

Just recently purchased these generators to replace a very outdated model and could not be happier with them. The design is great, the build quality seems superb and they're just all around nice. I love the layout and how well balanced they are which makes moving them around super easy. The remote start feature is really nice as well!

Amazing product for a great value!

Recently purchased the WGen9500DFc after a significant amount of research and could not be more pleased. I was looking for a good value, that would provide enough emergency back up power for my cabin in Michigan. This unit will do just that. Being out in the back woods, we often have to endure the occasional power outage due to storms and poorly maintained utilities. No heat and no power to the well is not a fun experience in the middle of a Michigan winter. The fact that his unit has the ability to run on both gasoline and propane was a must have for our situation. The unit runs as advertised with noise level that you would expect from a generator or this size. I'm sure with the proper care it should bring years of reliability and a sense of security knowing that I will never have to endure another cold night without any heat or water again.

Whole House Generator

I bought this as a backup when the power goes out. I have a 1500SF home.2 refrigerators, 1 chest frefridgerator, hot water heater, 4 mini splits, oven/stove, and the usual ceiling fans and lighting. This generator powers everything in my house. I wired it to plug into my main electric panel and have not had any issues. I am very pleased with how this generator powers my house when the power goes out.

Runs Like A Beast

This generator powers my entire house! Fridge, deep freezer, stove, AC, microwave, house lights etc. It is exactly what I need and it is still going strong after 2.5 years! Ive probably run it 60hours, and perform the recomended maintance as per the manual. The only thing that I dont like is the CO2 dectector. My generator is kept covered by a open roof outside. Sometime when the wind blows correctly, the exhaust gets blown to the CO2 sensor and the generator shuts off. When it's storming this is a problem. I would recomend buying the WGen9500DF (not the DFc) to avoid this issue. Unless this is a safety feature you need.

High expectaions but not Used yet!

I purchased this based on reviews from qualified testers who then rank and evaluate products. One friend who is well versed in small engines also recommended it as one he would purchase. Having propane is a plus so gas doesn't gum up the system between uses.

Versatile unit

Just received the unit and it is very well designed. I went with the dual fuel option for versatility and this has enough plug options to give me what I need along with the power to keep things habitable if our power goes out. I am using this along with a GenerLink meter transfer switch to help us through any power outages.

Dual Fuel Generator

Luckily we didn't need to use this new Dual Fuel Generator this Hurricane Season, how ever last year we only had a gas generator, and we were without power for 5 days and was not able to find gas by the end of the time frame. Now that we have this new generator we can have gas and propane ready every year incase we need it.

Easy to use and powered the whole house!

I had to use my WGen95000fc shortly after I purchased it and had no problems starting it and running my home after an entire street power outage. My neighbors seemed more nice and interested in me than ever before. I'm glad I purchased it in case of any major problems in the future.

Starts Great!

I just purchased this generator as an emergency power supply, so I haven't actual used it yet. The set-up instructions are nice and clear. The generator started on the first try using either the start/stop button or the remote. This is a great plus for me since I don't always have the strength to use a pull cord start. The only issues I have are the weight at over 200 lbs. (but I knew this when I made the purchase) and that the instructions mention an "ECO" switch that allows the generator to run longer on a tank of gas and to run more quietly. I see no "ECO" switch anywhere on the generator.
