Bought this a month ago to be better prepared for hurricane season. Did test run for 6 hrs and unit performance was excellent! Started right up and full power to my house. Picked up this second larger generator to power house. I already have the Westinghouse 7500 which has been great thru hurricane power outages. Love the keyless start and ease of use. Looking forward to being able to rely on this one to keep family comfortable thru next hurricane.

We don't lose power that often, but I want to be ready if/when we do. This portable generator will certainly do the trick, and I have no doubt it will help power a good majority of our house when we lose power. It was easy to set up and prepare, and with the simple step of pushing a button it started right up. I feel confident that we won't miss a beat if the power goes out.

Excellent delivery right to the door of my choosing. Very well packaged unit arrived in excellent condition. Just got it out of the box and starting to assemble. It has a battery and oil, good to go. I'm leaving now for the hardware store to npbuy four nuts missing to attach the feet on the bottom then will get it started.

I recently did some updates to my home's electrical system. One of the things I had the electrician do was to put in a connection to install a generator. I read a lot of great reviews for Westinghouse WGen9500TFc. The only assembly that is required is to put the wheels and feet on the frame, and that was easy to do. After that it was a question of adding engine oil and gasoline. My electrician assisted me in getting it connected to my house and running. I love that it has a both a push start button as well as a remote start. The ease of use is wonderful. I like that I have the option of choosing from three different fuel sources to get it to going. I honestly hope never to loose power but I am confident the generator will keep my house functioning if I do lose power. The attached handle makes this generator super easy to move when needed. I was also surprised by the fact that it is a quieter machine than others I have seen in the past. So far, I'm really happy about this purchase.

This generator fits all my needs... it can function as a whole house back up generator and be used for my dads 30 foot trailer. i am glad that i purchased this and am very happy with the easy of use... it has a remote control to turn it on, great feature!! also C02 sensor is a must since i have young kids. i am very satisfied with this generator and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable generator at a reasonable cost.

The quality and performance of our Westinghouse iGen4500 during hurricane Beryl greatly influence our decision to upgrade to the WGen9500c. We live in the greater Houston area, and we were without power for more than 5 days. The iGen4500 kept our refrigerator and freezer running flawlessly.
