For some reason we have multiple power outages each year both in the summer and winter. We were tired of losing food every time, or having to keep buying bags of ice trying to save food while being miserable and sweaty in the summer. I also work from home often and if we don't have power, I can't work and don't get paid..bought this generator to take care of that, and after breaking it in and changing the oil it's at the ready. Came highly recommended from a few coworkers that bought the same one, and I can see why - especially love the built in charger port for the battery.

I bought the Westinghouse portable generator a month ago, and so far I am very pleased. Good power to run the house including 3.5 ton AC. I had it wired with soft start to reduce the AMP spike when the compressor starts. Extra features are nice, including remote start, harmonic gauge, and 50 AMP cord outlet. So far I have only run it for a couple of hours, the real test will be when it is needed for longer periods.

I love the remote start with this generator. We have it about 6 feet from our kitchen window and the noise is barely noticeable. The remote will start it from inside the house. We chose to have our house wired so when the power goes out I can plug this in and use it. Our house is just under 4000 square feet and it is strong enough to handle our kitchen, office, and master suite.

Recently bought this generator for recreational use and the occasional power outage. To start of the deliver was quick and professional, the directions inside the box were extremely clear and very easy to follow. Once I acquired the appropriate materials I got it started. Easy, fast, and very sturdy and reliable. Overall great quality, completely worth every penny. You can't put a price on peace of mind. We have natural gas at our house already. When there is a disaster/ weather event it is easier to plug up to the natural gas line with a quick connector than to deal with gas spills, fumes and lines at the pump. I've had it started several times and it runs great, but I have hot used it for an emergency yet. It has run great thus far. Have your location planned out and leveled, as close to the main electrical box if you plan to interlock into your circuit breaker box . The delivery guys were great, and put it exactly where I was hoping. It's heavy but manageable with the handle and big wheels. The install was easy. Use your own tools, although the ones they had looked adequate. I finished by myself within two hours, using wood pieces to elevate the frame when needed. Seriously, I spent much more time converting my gas line fittings to 1/2 inch ( to handle the needed flow) or setting up the interlock than I did setting up this beast of a machine.

Purchased the TRI Fuel WGen9500TFC for an emergency. Living in Buffalo you never know how much snow you will get. You can be buried in snow for days at a time and if you lose power, you might be in trouble. This generator will solve all the issues back feeding the panel with an interlock kit. With the tri fuel running on natural gas, you will never have to worry. Fractions of the cost compared to installing a whole house stand by.

I just received the generator purchased after suffering with no power from Hurricane Beryl. It arrived almost 5-days early! I cannot wait to try it out. I rated it with 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have not used it yet. However, it has lots of features and seems to be made of great quality of materials. It's very heavy duty! Very nice.

I purchased this generator 3 weeks ago and I am impressed on the features it has over other generators I've owned. It was easy to assemble and is capable of using 3 different fuel sources. Also it delivers up to 50 amps. of power. Looking forward to using it the next time the lights go out.

I bought this generator about 2 months ago. It was super easy to assemble the wheels and foot stops. The instructions are very easy to follow. The unit comes with the exact amount of oil needed. The unit started right up with the electric start button and then again with the remote. I started EVERYTHING in my 5th wheel and the generator did really well. I have two huge A/Cs, a full size fridge, full size microwave, electric water heater, water pump, electric fire place and a few appliances (such as vacumn, coffee). I just added some fuel stabilizer just in case since I won't be using it as often. Last thing, I'm currently at about 5,000+ feet above sea level. The instructions say I may need a kit for high altitude, but I haven't needed it yet. The generator is slightly louder than I would like, but I found it to be the quietest in the market that can produce this much power. The generator is also heavy, so I posted a picture of how I put it in my RV.

Really easy to put together everything was really detailed, we live in Florida and decide to purchase it for Hurricane season emergency's power outages,and I love it really easy to start cause it have a remote and to carry it around cause it's have wheel so far I'm really satisfied with my purchase i also purchase the Cover has well
