LOVE the remote start

I love the remote start with this generator. We have it about 6 feet from our kitchen window and the noise is barely noticeable. The remote will start it from inside the house. We chose to have our house wired so when the power goes out I can plug this in and use it. Our house is just under 4000 square feet and it is strong enough to handle our kitchen, office, and master suite.

Easy to assemble

Received as a gift. I have had the generator about two weeks and haven't started or used it yet. Easy to assemble but I tipped and supported it to the front (muffler side) to install the wheels and support feet rather than to the side as the instructions implied. Appears to be sturdy and I am anxious to try it. The only drawbacks I can determine at this time are the locations of the oil filler neck and the manual chock which may prove awkward for an older individual.

Tri Fuel Generator

My first ever generator and it's been an amazing experience. It was super easy to set up with clear instructions with pictures and all. They really thought about everything. The manual is very informative about scheduled maintenance and how to troubleshoot in case of any issues. I highly recommend this generator!

Simple to use and a life saver

I happened to make the purchase literally a week before a storm hit Houston and I subsequently lost power. I was able to very quickly set this up and get the essentials up and running. Working off natural gas, I've been running my large fridge, internet modem, tv, work essentials, and a 9000 BTU portable air conditioner. Did my first oil change after 25 hours (took a literal 5 minutes) and everything has been running incredibly smoothly. Highly recommend.

Well built and sturdy

I bought this generator after this past month's ice storm. It came with detailed instructions and seems to be very well built. I've not had to use it yet, but so far I am pleased with this purchase. I may update my review after the initial test run. I plan to connect it to our house via transfer switch.

Home and Farm Standby Generator

Purchase to use as standby power for home and farm. Will use with interlocked 60 amp breaker in the property master disconnect panel. Will have power to house and all out buildings. I installed all the switches, interlock, circuit breaker and inlet box. Generator was easy to setup following the easily explained instructions.

Lots of power for the price

I bought this generator because if the wind blows it seems the power goes out where I live. It is big enough that I can run most of my house and the price was pretty good I felt. It has electric start and it automatic choke so you don't have to mess around with it much. It also has a remote start which is kind of nice. I haven't used it a lot but overall I am happy with my purchase.

There are many benefits

A friend loaned to me a generator to use during a recent five day blackout. After using the Generac, I could see that there were solid feature improvements by purchasing the WGN 9500 C. I like having the 50 amp circuit. I like the easy way that the assembly went. I like the easy to read gasoline gauge. I like the basket that prevents trash from getting in the fuel tank. I like the digital display gauge that toggles between information about what's happening to the unit while running. I like the key fob I am just starting to use it and I am, so far very impressed. I'm having an electrician install transfer power to our fuse box so we won't have to use the many extension cords we had laying around with the Generac. I like the handle that allows an old man and woman to be able to lift and move it where we need it Without straining too much. Thanks, Westinghouse.

Powerful Generator, Easy Set-Up, Relatively Quiet

Purchased this generator following my last generator giving out during a power outage. Generator is very easy to set up with good instruction manual. Battery came charged and was easy to connect. Remote control for easy starting easy to connect. Have not fully placed a ton of load on it yet but it is more quiet than my prior generator that was rate at 5000W. This generator is also more quiet than other generators I have heard rate at the same wattage. Good build quality and easy to move once wheels are installed. Started up easily with first pull and required less effort than my gas powered lawnmower. The remote control start and electric start via the button also started the generator on first try as well. Overall will recommend to anyone needing a generator of this power.

Nice generator, cheap wheel bearings

We bought this for hurricane season in case of power outages or for friends visiting with RV's. It generates plenty of electricity to provide power to everything we want and then some. The electric start and the ability to turn it on and off remotely is great. The only downside I've seen so far are the cheap bearing used in the wheels. The bearing cover/seal on one of the wheels was off and laying in the box when I opened it. I snapped it back in place but don't have much hope of it staying that way because it doesn't snap in tightly.
