We purchased this generator when our power went out in the recent power failures in Texas. Our power was out for 25 hours and the temps. where in the single digits. I connected our furnace and several lights as well as running an extension cord to my neighbor so he could run his furnace as well. It handled everything with no problems! It had power to spare. What a great lifesaver! Thank you Westinghouse!

I purchased smaller model years ago in Florida for hurricane backup after much research and was extremely happy with both the quality and how quietly it ran. This item is heavy-duty and even feels SOLID as you handle it. Arrived in good packaging, with clear instructions for getting started quickly. Very minimal assembly and preparation required before use. Following the instructions I had it ready and running in about 30 minutes.

Very easy to set up and start. Added oil,put in fuel, started up first try. Have not tried to power the appliances yet. Would have given 5stars but the staples on the box scratched the frame in shipping. (Cosmetic damage only). Missing 2bolts and a washer. Looking forward to running the generator.

This thing is the truth! I love that it can be powered by gasoline, propane or our natural gas line. Also love that it has a manual and remote start option. And for the power that it puts out, it's great for the price. We haven't had to use it yet, but overall satisfied with the purchase.

We habitually lose power several times a year because we live in the country. The last time the electricity was out for days. I was worried about food getting spoiled. This generator foots the bill. I need to explore all the options it offers because I only used the 120v outlets for the refrigerator/freezer. It definitely gives you ‘piece of mind' when Mother Nature gets nasty. I bought this just a few days before hurricane IAN ripped through our area. It performed better than expected. We lost power around shortly before noon on September 28th. The generator started easily on the first try and ran continuously for about 11 hours each day (4) until the power was restored. I shut it off at night and restarted in the morning. It used about 6.5 gallons of gas each day, which I thought was very good. It ran great even during rainy periods. It ran my refrigerator, several lights and tv's without straining. After the hurricane I had a transfer switch and outdoor inlet plug installed so I can run the central AC. I tested the system and it performed flawlessly running the AC, refrigerator, dishwasher, 3 tv's and several lights, microwave and a toaster for over an hour in 90 degree southwest Florida heat.

I bought this for an emergency I hope never occurs. I anticipated that it might be too heavy for just one man to set up, but I was wrong. Lifting it off the ground onto a few 2x4's allowed installation of the 2 wheels, and from then on it was a breeze. It fired up immediately and I was impressed by the power output which will be adequate to power the refrigerator, lights, and a small window a/c in the hot difficult days without electricity that follow a major storm.

Upgrade to this after going through a hurricane. Manual has easy to understand instructions and clear details. Generator is clearly marked for different places to plug in. Ran propane and natural gas so far and runs well on both. Plug into my 50amp transfer switch on house and powered different items very well. The remote start is a nice feature on generator. Was surprised received approximately 20 ft natural gas cord and 5 ft propane cord. Heavy but built well and for what it offers it is expected. Very happy to have.
