Bought this generator on the advice of the electrician we hired to install the 50 amp plug that connects generator to house panel. Have not had a power outage yet but tested unit and connection to house and everything worked great! Very pleased with the unit!

I appreciate how quick the product arrived to my home. Installing the tires and foots was easy. An adding the motor oil was quite simple. I haven't added gas yet to start it but overall I'm so far impressed with the product. Youtube videos helped me to understand the product features. I bought this unit to provide household power in the event of an extended power outage which has occurred three times in the past 20 years due to hurricanes. I also have a Honda 3.8K generator which I have for 16 years and it has never missed a lick but it is not powerful enough to provide power to my hot water heater or oven. This Westinghouse Generator will provide me with sufficient power

I have not fueled up the new generator at the time of this review so I have not ran it yet. But it was a pleasant surprise to see that this generator came with a spark plug wrench and a wrench to aid in assembling the foot pads and an offset funnel to aid in putting in the motor oil.

I bought this gen 6 months ago and have had to use it to power the house a few times. It runs the entire house excluding the central air with no issues. The push button start is so nice when the weather is bad and you don't want to stand there using a pull to start.

We received this portable generator this past weekend.. in the summer of 2023, we had a power outage due to a wicked storm and had to bail water from basement. We worried about refrigerator, electric water tank, and multiple other necessary equipment. Worry no more since we purchased the Westinghouse generator.

I just bought this WGen9500 last week. I took it out of the box, installed the feet and wheels, but have not had time to put in the oil yet. I know that is going to be perfect for my needs: working around my 3-acre property and acting as a stand-by generator for extended outages. I compared to other machines and found this one to be everything I wanted. Even though there have been ownership changes I still trust the Westinghouse name. I can be sure.

Just receive this Portable Generator. Looks great, has everything I need to keep my freezer, 2 refrigerators and some lights on during and after these terrible destructive storms and many power interruptions. I hope I don't have to use it, but nice knowing it's there when I need it. Comes preassembled, add base supports and wheels, oil and gas.

I purchased this generator about a month ago and I love it. This thing has more features than both of my cars! Haven't had to use it in an emergency yet, but I have already fired it up and put a load on it and ran like a champ. We are in south Louisiana and have a really busy hurricane season so I wanted a generator capable of handling the load of most of my home, minus the central a/c, and this one is the one for the job. I will try to update this review after the season is over to talk about how it handles what I have to put it through.

Bought this when we moved into our new house in a remote location because I was concerned about losing power from storms. My hope was to just run the essentials since we already had a while home switchover but man surprised. We were able to run the ac, 2 fridges, a stand up freezer, two sumps, the well pump, septic pump, range, and numerous lights all at once. Couldn't be happier. Set up was easy, did it at 12am with no power since I had been too lazy to setup the generator in advance.
