- 5 out of 5 stars review3/18/2025I bought this about a month ago. I was really impressed with the packaging. I was impressed with the features on the generator. There's nowhere I could make an improvement. I was also impressed with the hardware. It has all the hardware that you'll need. I would highly recommend this generator. This is the fourth generator that I had in my lifetime. It's the best.
Review for triple fuel generator, I Westinghouse
Tom the manOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/2/2025Bought this generator a few months ago as a standby gen for the house. With a 50amp plug and wiring for the house and an interlock kit, the generator hooked up and ran the house flawlessly. The push button start is great and makes it so anyone can run it.
Easy to use.
Justinn.Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/21/2025With the uncertainty of the power grid these days its a must have. Easy operation. Runs on natural gas, propane and regular gas. Powers the entire house and all utilities. To run the air, simply shut down the house breakers and run the air till comfortable and simply switch back to the main house breakers when done. Nice wheels and handle for easy moving around to storage. Starts with a push of a button or the remote. Don't be caught with your power out ever again 😁
Powerhouse
SmokinJoe KellyOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/2/2025Only 1 month of service so far, so I can't vouch for longevity or dependability but it seems like an all around good product. Shipped to the house, it was well packed and undamaged upon arrival. It has good features and hopefully it will serve my family for many years.
Can't complain so far
MK15Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/3/2025We had our first power outage with this generator. We were not prepared for it. My neighbor had a propane tank so we used that, connected the generator up in only a few minutes and had our fridges running on the generator in about 1/2 an hour. We thought the tank would run dry but the generator is very efficient. We are now planning on connecting it to the house.
Great generator
Pc45Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/18/2025Recent storms in our area have made owning a generator a necessity not a luxury. The tri-fuel generator lets you select the fuel you want to use….Natural gas & propane…. if you are deep in the woods there is the gasoline option. The 12500 Peak Watts is enough to power all your garage power tools , RV trailer & a quantity of household appliances to live comfortably in power outages.Easy to setup out of the box….less the 15mins…would completely recommend the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel 12500W Generator.
Portable Powerhouse
Mike SladeOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/22/2025I bought this a few weeks ago and am still going through the break in process (no power outages yet!). It was easy to assemble (wheels and legs) and get started. While breaking it in I have powered some appliances and small power tools with no issues. Our plan is to connect it to our gas supply and install a transfer switch. I am almost looking forward to a power outage. The electric start makes it easy to start for two senior citizens. I would recommend it heartily to anyone.
Good features, easy to use
ELawsonOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/18/2025I bought this in Nov 2024 after a previous recent long duration power outage - I live rural, so no power also means no water usage. I'm so glad I bought it because we just had a power outage again last week. I had a transfer switch to my electrical box installed. This powered everything I needed it to during the outage - I was able to take a shower for work/use water, cook on stove, turn on lights, charge cellphones, keep the furnace running. Obviously, we were careful - used lights sparingly, didn't do laundry, or run the dishwasher, or use the oven. I bought this portable generator over a whole house one because my elderly mother was also out for a week in November. If she goes out again, I can bring this over to her so she can stay ho...
Powered everything I needed during an outage
kajtjjttjOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/20/2025This is my second WGen9500c. So basing my review on my first one. I kept it plugged in and it was always there when I needed it. I can't fight with a pull cord and the push button and remote are fantastic! Make sure to use fuel stabilizer in your gas if you're not using it often. I use mine if the power goes out or if we need to use some power tools outside. My first one, still trucking at another residence.
Nice Generator for the $$
MyownsandboxOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/17/2025After moving to SWF, I upgraded to a 50 amp service and replaced my 10 yr old Gen with this model. Multi fuel options, remote start, quick connect battery and CO2 sensor. Just what I needed as a backup in case of a power outage or running my tools.
All in one
SWGenOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/25/2025Just received the WGen9500TFc as a backup generator for my home. The setup was very simple. Engine startup on propane was without issue. Noise level is not bad. I just ordered the high-altitude carb kit. However, the generator seems to run fine on propane at 7000 ft.
Easy setup, runs great.
doobinnmOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/3/2025Excellently received in box on a crate, opened and all parts present. Followed simple instructions for assembly and first time run operation. Everything worked as it should and is now stored nicely in my garage awaiting its first real call to action.

notamechanicOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/6/2025I love the versatility of this product. The tri-fuel design is awesome, offering the convenience of natural gas, the economy of gasoline fuel, or the compromise of propane. I personally prefer the convenience and availability I get with use of natural gas. I don't have to worry that much about fuel availability in emergency situations! Plus, there's no gasoline cans or propane fuel tanks to haul around. I love that! Since my home is heated with natural gas and our ovens cook with natural gas, we practically have a whole-house generator! I highly recommend this product.
Great features, Easy to Handle!
HokieFanOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/9/2025This is my second purchase. Bought first one after Helene. Worked fantastic. Runs whole house and well with no problem. Because of excellent service from the first one I set up a second one for emergency power to the shop and barn. This saves the birds I raise during power outages.
Great job
Truck2191Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/18/2025This is a great generator. I really liked the easy set-up, which took only 10 minutes after getting the generator out of the box. The wheels were easy to attach. I like the tri-fuel feature as well. I plan to install the natural gas hook-up, but I tested it with gasoline right out of the box. Very happy with this purchase.
Easy set-up and easy start
UpstateSC123Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/21/2025Ordered this Westinghouse 12500 Watt generator in Nov 2024 and I am very happy with my decision. I finally get around to install it January 19 2025. It was easy to install and the remote start key is a plus so that my wife can start it as well. It is very easy to move it around for usage and storage with big wheels. The generator can run everything in my house including 3 ton A/C, 2 refrigerators, and lights... It is such a peace of mind when we could lost power due to hurricane in summer.
An excellent generator
Tran NgoOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/20/2025This generator was very easy to assemble and started up on the first try. The unit is also very simple to use and operate. I haven't tried the natural gas hookup yet but only plan to use that option for extended power outages. The generator is quite heavy but easily manageable with two people.
Excellent back up generator for the home!
shunter007Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/7/2025In an unexpected power outage, we were able to purchase the Westinghouse 9500c generator. It ran strong for 8 days and powered everything we needed in the house. We were careful not to run too much electric at once, but we were impressed none-the-less. It really saved us, as the temperatures were quite cold. Also impressive is the manual! It provides very specific details in a very easy to read and understand format. The instructions made setup, use, and an oil change a breeze!! The unexpected bonus for us was the remote start/stop fob. We didn't realize how nice this made things; saving us from going out into the cold to push a button. Our only complaint is the noise. It is loud, and 8 days of it was uncomfortable. Howev...
Runs Strong, Great Manual
SAFarmOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/13/2025Purchased in November 2024 because we have frequent power outages where we live and liked the fact that this generator was dual fuel powered. We have used it twice in the past 2 months on propane and it worked great. I was able to make coffee and cook during these power outages which I have not been able to do previously. We liked the propane because it is more stable but also like the fact that we can use gasoline also.
Purchased for frequent power outages
Homesteader58Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/10/2025I purchased my portable generator last month and received it last week. The installation manual was very good to put it together. My plumber ran the natural gas line and my electrician installed the manual transfer switch and ran the electric lines to my breaker box with no problem
Great Experience
