The bowls are good but the lids are awful. They are hard to close, which is a problem, because they can be REALLY hard to close. The worst thing though is the seal molds quickly. I've used some of the lids maybe twice and they started molding quickly and its not easy at all to get the gaskets out to get the mold. You can't dry them enough due to the gasket and it molds almost instantly if there is the slightest bit of moisture. I took a lid out of the dishwasher and it had started to mold overnight from the cycle being run the night before and I use the dry function. It's a cool concept, but it's not been well implemented.

Tops are awful

Difficult to fasten plastic lids in place. Removable Silicone seals make it hard to close the containers. Tabs on lids are problematic both for closing and storage.

Not recommended

These glass storage containers are AMAZING! I have always been afraid to have glass anything as I tend to drop things easily, but these beauties are tough and don't spill. I purchased them for some of my arts and crafts items, like glitter and such, and the others for food. Wow is all I can say. They seal air tight, but are easy enough to unlock. They clean up wonderfully and so far no stains. The next time I am in Sam's, if they are in stock, I will be purcasing both the 16 piece set and the baby food size as that size works great for my needs as well. If you are looking for an air tight, sturdy, easy to clean container set at a decent price, this is the one for you hands down.
