They were not green but not quite ripe, it’s been three weeks and still not ready.

Great fried, baked added to stews can be cooked a little on the green side or very ripen

The bag was opened and had only 5 plantains not weighing 5 pounds

I am so happy Sam's now offers these green plantains. These are sooo good fried or boiled with a garlic sauce on top. The price is also great.

Ripes perfectly when placed in a second plastic bag in the cabinet for a couple of days. Check daily!

Still have it not yet ripe and its been weeks, the last one I brought before this took months before it ripped. Was planning on returning.

I love plantains. They are quite delicious and sweet. The only issue I have with these particular plantain is they take awhile to ripen.
