This was the worst plantains ever ,had them for two weeks and they were never good, because they were not even ripe .

I grew up eating plantains fairly often and am so thrilled to be able to get them here. They ripen a few at a time which is perfect for my family.

Very good green plantains. I love the quality and the price is good. Cooks very well and within a few days you may have a ripe one for frying. They are very good for grilling. It is a must on my Sam’s shopping list.

Love them: cooked or roasted and eaten with almond butter. They were well mature before cutting. To prevent ripening, I cut them up and freeze, ready to cook by boiling later. But to enjoy roasted, I do so by roasting in the oven after peeling off cover within a couple of days of purchase.
