Sam’s and their supplier have found another way to charge for more water and plastic. It bad enough they inject water into the chicken. Now they are selling it in multiple layers of packing, floating in water. Odd pieces and bits with an odd texture. Multiple items quality have gone down while prices have gone up.

The chicken breasts look like they have been butchered with a dull knife and a hammer. Nothing about this chicken breasts is appealing and it is tough as an old boot.

size is incosistent, sometimes looks like scrap chicken, terrible quality. Was much better when packaged before where you could see the breast vs this packaging where it is hidding

I bought my first and last package of the new design packaged chicken Breast. This had to be the worst slime chicken I have ever bought. Who ever was the idiot that came up with this product should be fired. Sam's took a great product and destroyed it. To the managers I suggest you try this garbage so you understand what people are talking about. I really do most of my shopping at Sam's but never for chicken again.

This review is based primarily on the new choice of packaging. I don’t care for “wet” chicken. This is just sitting in liquid. The meat has a different texture and a slightly different taste. I used to package and freeze each chicken breast separately. Now, I can still do that but I feel like it uses so much more plastic or I can freeze the packages as-is but I have to defrost two at a time. I do feel like the chicken lasts a little longer.

The chicken itself is fine. It’s the new packaging I can’t stand. If I’m going to Sam’s for meat, it probably means I need a large quantity so the tear-apart packs are a minor convenience that don’t really do anything for me. More importantly, getting into these packages is a hassles and usually results in raw chicken juice spilling all over. It would be so much easier to have the standard flat plastic-wrapped tray.

Don’t care for this new packaging at all. I am a senior citizen and I had a very hard time getting it open and getting the chicken out and I will not purchase again. Plus, it is hard to see what’s in there and I thought I was getting Four large chicken breasts, but I was getting eight much smaller ones .

Wonderful quality chicken in the dumbest packaging possible. The new packaging is in four separate chambers, which should allow you to only open what you need for a meal. Unfortunately, the chambers are glued together, back to back and they can't be separated. As a result, you have to use both at the same time or else you're stuck with a leaking bag of chicken juice stuck to an unopened bag of chicken in the fridge.
