I used to love buying my chicken at sams. Since they changed to the members mark brand, the chicken is awful. Sometimes you will get a whole breast, but most often it is pieces. The meat is horrible quality. It is mealy, you can feel the striations in the meat, and no matter how good of a cook you are, it is always dry.

I used to love buying my chicken at Sam's in fact it was one of the reasons i have my membership. I have bought the new packaging chicken several times now and am completely disappointed. Each time i have bought it recently the chicken breasts are very mismatched in size so i end up having to open all four packs to get similar size breast. Because of the package you can not tell what the condition the chicken is in so it is a surprise (not a good one) each time. We go through a lot of chicken and I feel like these new packs do not off as much chicken. I will not buy them again.

Purchased today. Never again. Too much glue on pkg, making it impossible to separate pkg without putting a hole in it. First pack contained 1 medium sized breast and just a scrap of one. Also, really liked previous brand because breasts were trimmed very well. Today, I bet there was at least a pound of fat. Will not purchase again no matter the price.

The quality of the chicken in this new packaging is terrible. Half of the pieces don't even look like a chicken breast. They are some malformed, distorted piece of meat. It almost seems like these are rejects from the packing house, packaged so the buyer can't see how bad they are. These are unusable in many of my recipes. I'll get my chicken breasts at other stores until Sam's fixes this.

This feels like a rip off. The old family packs were just fine. We would get 8 to 10 breasts and for a fair price. Now you want us to accept less chicken for more money? This is a disgrace. This will not feed a family of 5 for more than one meal even if I did slice them in half myself.

New packages need improvement and not what I expected for members mark changing the packaging. Purchased some of these that are four sealed pack to one unit. We put them in a freezer bag to keep cold till we got home. When putting away discovered multiple had opened up loosing there seal and leaked all over in the freezer bag with other items. The previous traditional packaging we would divide up into meal size portions and vaccum pack with our food saver. Was excited for this change not having to separate and vaccum pack before freezing. Multiple packs opening up and other ones not being able to separate the packs because of the glue holding the packs together combined with thin plastic make me unhappy for this change and unless the packaging is improved I'll likely not purchase these again.

The previous product was far superior! Disappointing that this is what Sam's thinks their customers want. The chicken is in bad shape, looks like grade schoolers pulled it off the bone with a grapefruit spoon and only got about half the meat. Even packaging is ridiculously difficult to separate. I don't want this prepackaged crap, I want to package in amounts that work for my family so I now have to work harder to do the same task as before. I go to Sam's for bulk, not handful of small portions. Time to go elsewhere for yet another thing Sam's is screwing up.
